I wasn’t dunking on you once being a Reagan republican, my comment was towards your statement of “the GOP acting like this is blowing my mind.” And yes, we are allowed to learn and grow. That is a good thing that should happen. But, and we’re going to disagree here, it is definitely the natural progression. The southern strategy gave us so much craptastic politics, but number one in that is courting the lowest denominator in the hateful south. Breeding that throughout the party and filling it with the cocaine fueled parties of the ‘70s and ‘80s. This is the shit that created Limbah, Gingrich and the rest. The Koch family had been feeding and fomenting everything wrong with where we are before Reagan and still use Nixon and Reagan to this day as starting points for enshittification of our country. As a kid when Reagan was elected and an “adult” when he left office, I could tell where this bs was going. When you court people based on their worst qualities, you can only go down from there.

The senate ranks based off seniority. The longer you've been a senator, the more power you yield. Senior senators get first choice of committee assignment. The longer you're on a committee, the more senior you are on that committee. So, very old person has been a powerhouse for a long time and gets to choose their committees. The more senior, the more powerful committee you can join; the longer on the power committees, the more power you yield on that committee. THE SENATE IS SET UP TO GIVE MORE POWER TO OLD PEOPLE.

She wasn't put anywhere, she chose those spots; and there isn't a damn person who can do anything about it as long as she is re-elected. Retire or death is the only way she leaves those committees. I know how this will end. As long as she gets re-elected. It's that simple.

Yes, all the life skills and on the job training they received for free. This isn’t speaking towards the login issue we all experience, but as far as reentering your password, you should have a password manager that you use. That should enter the password easily with minimal effort from you.

It’s worth getting a good one, not that I’m not a fan of Firefox, but the stand alone ones work really well these days. Everyone has their favorite, I’m currently using 1password because I get the family version for free from another service; but I’ve used most of them and they’re all pretty similar.

I have a router based service that blocks ads and has a bunch of security features. Part of the service, is a subscription to 1password and a vpn service. I happily use 1password and I buy my own vpn. They just switched vpn providers so I need to look them up, but I will still keep my current vpn since it’s tied to email and a bunch of services.

A number of years ago, a little unknown tech guy by the name of Paul Allen decided to purchase a bunch of run down storage places and warehouses in the south lake union area of Seattle. This minor character on the tech landscape went to Seattle and said I’m going to build you a park to rival Central Park and we’ll put businesses and living places around it. Seattle said “that’s not your purse! I don’t know you!” and they kicked him in the balls. So, said small businessman left and said fuck it, I’ll just develop a shit show. And this is how MAGA (Meta, Amazon, google, Apple) took over south lake union in Seattle and turned it into a commuting nightmare of epic proportions.

Not sure what KDE is but you can install KES in a scripts manager on several browsers and under threads there is a hide posts option. Turn that on and you can click the hide button
