I mean he’s not a leftist. I’m ignoring the constant sexual harassment and latent homophobia that seems to permeate the entire show and pretty much every character here and also that he’s like a huge dick, but all his criticisms of people, the system and the world are oddly leftist. Never really noticed when I watched it...

Ramen absolutely has it’s place in the world and I do consider it one of the miracles of modernity but man, I want like some actual vegetables in my convenience foods occasionally instead of freeze dried flavor cubes

See my thing is if I had the facilities to store and prepare green onions and peas I could probably whip up like an actual meal, I like ramen for it’s convenience of “throw it in my work locker and forget about it for 6 months until I forget or didn’t manage to pack a lunch”

Same deal with the hot pots, plus the self heating thing would be good as fuck for outdoorsy activities so I don’t have to carry an extra thermos can of hot water

One of the biggest cultural shocks I had as a german was traveling to Ireland because their museums aren’t like ours.

You go to a museum in germany that deals with violence and, correctly, they’re all like “this sucked shit and should never be done because it was a crime against humanity”

Why would you need an ad broker to advertise your own shit. Like just put it there? Using the ad broker would be all of the same work except with more middleman.

YMMV on the CDU vis a vis being fascists but I’d argue you can look back at Adenauers “Radikalenerlass” (“Radical Decree” or something) that purported to stop extremists from both sides from holding certain important jobs and somehow managed to find 1000 left wing extremists for every right winger in '70s germany.
