Tonight, on The Variety Party, DJ Celrock brings you all, another jam packed show, complete with a Comparison Cover requested by a listener, artist vs. themselves! She also received a ton of requests from Romeo. Who's Romeo? Well, obviously not the guy from the Shakespearean play from the 1600's, but a different one entirely, and one with limited vocabulary at that! If you were hoping @hallen would return, to host The Variety Party this week, I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken. Though had you been following him everywhere he broadcasts, you would have had plenty of chances to listen to him, all week long! Rather, you have to now wait, until 8:00 PM Central on Sunday evening, to listen to everybody's favorite, Grand Master of Fuzz. In the meantime, DJ Celrock has excitedly returned, to her rightful place as host, of The Variety Party, and on tonight's edition of The Variety Party, she has a wide variety of music, including your requests, The Life of the Party Segment will feature an Original versus Sample that she had completely forgotten about until rediscovering it recently, and she'll also have, The Flashback Hour, featuring your favorites, from 1974 and earlier. She's also had an extremely busy week, meaning she's got a lot to talk about. Heck, she technically, has 2 weeks to catch you guys up on, since she wasn't here last week. Also, since it's the beginning of a brand new month, that means, The Life of the Party Segment contains another Cover Comparison this week, and DJ Celrock has one that's very appropriate for Valentine's Day, which is right around the corner! She'll also talk about her week, in particular, an incident that left her quite concerned, and had her fearing the worst, but thankfully, got resolved and for the moment anyway, is no longer an issue. Plus, the usual banter with her artificial intelligent cohost, Lady C, and much, much more. For those of you who may or may not know this, our station manager and Grand Master of Fuzz, @hallen, hosts an 80's and 90's show on another station. This prompted DJ Celrock to ask herself the question, "What would The 80's and 90's Show be like, if I hosted it?" She plans to answer this question, by bringing you all, an 80's and 90's themed edition, of The Variety Party, tonight, on Server 2! Obviously, this show will feature songs from the 1980's and 1990's, but since it is the 4th. Friday of the Month, which means, Same Title, Different Song week on The Life of the Party Segment, this means, that will be an 80's and 90's themed, Same Title, Different Song, and while there will be no Flashback Hour this week, during the third and final hour of the program, DJ Celrock has an Artist Spotlight, featuring an 80's and a 90's hit from the featured artist, as well as presenting 3 lesser known facts about the artist, just as if it were an Artist Spotlight being featured on The Life of the Party Segment. However, you won't be guessing the featured artist throughout the program this week, because DJ Celrock has 3 trivia questions, 1 each hour, in hopes to give away 3 very special prizes, to 3 listeners, all of which, will be featured on future episodes of The Variety Party, airing in early to mid March of this year. What are the prizes? What are the questions? Make sure to wear your thinking cap to tonight's show, because you're gonna need it! We are excited to announce, that DJ Celrock returns, with The Variety Party, after taking a week off to regroup and rest! Join her this evening on Server 2, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Eastern, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Central, where she will cover the requests and Life of the Party Segment that wasn't unable to air last week, as well as giving you 2, Life of The Party Segments during the second hour of the program, the one for this week, inspired, by what covered 1 third of her time slot last week. Tonight, on The Variety Party, DJ Celrock has some interesting requests and dedications, including a request that came in back at the beginning of the month to honor a holiday being celebrated by the Jewish community today. The Life of the Party Segment will feature an Original versus Parody, that only the devil and drug happy people could even think to recommend, and, the final hour of the program, will feature, The Flashback Hour, with all of those cherished favorites from 1974 and earlier. Unfortunately, technology hasn't been kind to DJ Celrock today, so your only means of getting your voice heard on the show live, will be via calling her request line, at 413-347-9306, as she had all intensions on using Clubdeck tonight, with her new house and event for this program, but sadly, that wasn't meant to be, and she's so fed up with technology, that she wants to use as little as possible, to allow the show to go more or less, smoothly. Telegram, Email, and Mastodon will all still be available for communication that's not directly on the air, so it's not a total loss. Hope you enjoy the show, despite the lack of Clubdeck, Discord, and or Teamtalk tonight. Eventually, on-air social interactions will be figured out in weeks to come, please be patient. Tonight, I premier my brand new show on 98.6 The Mix, Server 2, beginning at 7 PM Eastern, 6 PM Central, and going until 10 PM Eastern, 9 PM Central, and I have a lot of awesome goodies for this first show! A look at all 5 random surprise segments to test your knowledge of various things, that you could get from time to time on future shows, listener requests and dedications, music between 1975 and today during the first 2 hours, and The Flashback Hour during the third hour, featuring music from 1974 and earlier. I'll also be playing 1 song tributes, paying respect to various favorite artists of mine that have sadly, passed away over the last year, and speaking of which, one of those artists, will be featured in tonight's Life of the Party Segment at the top of hour number 2, and since it's the first Friday of the month, I'll feature a Compare the Difference, that might be familiar if you've listened to @hallen's shows in the past, prior to several archives biting the bullet, to a crashed hard drive on his end. As for which Compare the Difference I'll be featuring, and which late artist will be featured in it, you'll have to tune in tonight and find out.
