I have had a few issues with Hyprland / nVidia, ultimately making me abandon hyprland as much as I absolutely loved it.

I couldn’t work with TexStudio and Electron apps were at best buggy.

I’ve read the first book and only watched the first two episodes. First thing : the Book takes place in China, which is more logical.

From what I’ve seen from the first two episodes, they created a lot of new things (the number of protagonists, the fact that a girl seemingly come from nowhere and doesn’t appear on cameras, the fact that the satellites didn’t see the blinking stars whereas it was precisely the satellites that saw them in the book, …)

I think the show took the book, did a fanfic rewriting of it and published it. Were they right ? Maybe, because the boo wouldn’t translate really well as is, in a TV show.

I teach chemistry also but had not thought about the possibility that they were refering to the protons that will react with nucleophile compound, thus “stealing” electrons.

I was thinking about the base that is left, and is perfectly contempt with the electron density around the acid site (and could to some extent also be a Lewis base).

But Lewis acids have nothing to do with lemons yet I see your point !

Not that it matters but when the pH gets lower, chemicals give proton precisely because they have too much electrons.

The best thing to do is follow the guide and tinker, one option at a time.

Start with the bare desktop, no bar no Nothing. Learn how to map your applications to a shortcut and how to navigate.

Then start trying things like waybar, etc. I would have a look at swaync and all of the ap suite that is really nice.

Help required, Certain VPN does not connect and times out

Can someone help, i have been having trouble connected with my home universities vpn, for past 15-20days, it is an openvpn connection, so i have been using networkmanager-openvpn to import my config files, and they have worked previously, but for last 15-20 days i get connection timed out, all certificates used are correct, i...

It may not apply to you but, from my own experience and assuming you are on KDE :

Remove your ethernet connection. Remove your VPN connection. Recreate an ethernet connection then the VPN. Never set ‘autoconnect’.

Before putting your computer to sleep/shutdown, manually disconnect from the VPN.
