IMO the best thing to do is hang a few more times in group settings WITH NO ULTERIOR MOTIVE and when you’ve calmed down just be direct. Put it out there, hey, I love spending time with you, and I would love to explore taking this beyond friendship and was wondering if you might feel the same? It’s fine if not we can always just be friends. But you have to mean it. Only then will it come from a place of confidence. The only way to know FOR SURE is to ask.

Also a bit of a tepid take but just ask explicitly for consent before you do anything comrade. “Can I hold your hand?” Sure it’s not suave or whatever but I would rather be clumsy than an asshole. I’ve never suffered negative consequences from asking but I’ve definitely pissed people off by assuming. I wish someone had taught me that when I was younger.

Depends what you want to do. You can do stremio + real debrid on just about anything but if you want to do your own server I would get a cheap used tower off of eBay that has an intel processor with integrated graphics and throw Ubuntu server on it and drop in a commercial NAS drive for storage like a WD Red. I did that for ~300 and am happy with the results (half of that budget was storage)

Someone has to seed though. I don’t know much about seedboxes but it seems like a seed box + plex combo is a solid way to go.

The home server route is way more complicated than rd+stremio for sure, but is still necessary in some contexts. I keep one just for kids content bc there’s no way to separate it out using stremio that I’ve found so far. It’s a bit of a pain to set up but with docker it’s not so bad. Stremio + rd for everything else.

Anything is better than watching fucking ads
