It’s really exciting and I do want adventures, but then when it starts happening I find I struggle with transitions and get quite stressed out if I can’t do my usual things like going to the gym, playing my games or having cups of tea at certain times of day 😅 it also takes me a long time to get back to my normal routine afterwards. but I still love to travel and the fallout feels worth it all the same

I think Twitter made me feel like a ghost shouting into the void for so long that it’s been incredibly overwhelming in a good way coming here and having people actually engage with me :blobheartcat: I really appreciate the vibes here and it feels like a much better atmosphere for people who genuinely want to make friends rather than just build a following

@tehjessica yes I’ve heard before that Twitter actually used to be like that! I only actively used it for the past couple of years, and though I enjoyed using it to follow gaming news I generally found it quite lonely. Always felt like there was a social clique happening all around me but I was on the outside looking in - which felt a bit too much like my high school experience all over again 😅
