Ist doch Lachs. Es geht um mediale Reichweite und die meisten Menschen nutzen halt WhatsApp. Sich solchen Medien aus Prinzip / Inkompetenz zu verweigern, ist Teil des Grundes, dass Nazis wieder salonfähig(er) sind.
Ein ernst gemeinter Schritt der Regierung (oder schlicht aller demokratischen Parteien) ist also meiner Meinung nach zu begrüßen.

Sind konzeptionell doch witzige Dinger. Dass der auf dem Gehweg steht, ist halt menschliches Versagen. Die kann man schließlich auch gut in Parkbuchten stellen.

On a serious note tho, I never understood the benefits of GNU’s spaces after functions. I don’t really mind most of the rest but I just don’t get the benefits of ‘funcname (arg)’ vs. ‘funcname(arg)’. Is there a specific reason for this? Personally, I find this to reduce readability because I have to think for a split second whether I’m looking at a variable or a function call.
Of cause this is also due to my habits, but I’m curious as to what the reasoning is.
Fair enough if the GNU dudes valued consistent spacing more than taking function calls as one “logical block”. Not my cup of tea but that’s what configurable auto formatting is for.

The hard part is getting used to it. How do I share my public keys? How do I use GPG (the program)? How do I access them easily? What do I do when I want to encrypt my mails on desktop (maybe Windows+Linux), laptop, and phone? It’s just relatively much work to gather the knowledge.

My wifi went down because the greedy, cunt-faced shitbags at Comcast stole taxpayer subsidies to enrich themselves instead of actually providing the service we’re paying for. I tried to switch to a mobile hotspot and my phone...
Out of interest, are there good resources on archiving those optimisations when rooting you would recommend? I’m low key interested in cracking android open when I’ll have to buy a new phone eventually but haven’t yet looked into the topic.
HP bewirbt seit einiger Zeit Drucker, die laut Beschreibung nur via WLAN funktionieren. Komischerweise haben die Dinger aber trotzdem einen USB-Anschluss, nur eben versteckt hinter einem Kleber. Und offenbar funktioniert der Anschluss sogar. der Kleber
Hier mal Sicht eines Studenten, der erstens ausschließlich Linux Geräte hat und zweitens nicht reich ist lol
HP und Linux funktioniert einfach. Die Treiber sind vorhanden, alles ez pz. Der ink service von denen geht mit datenschutzrechtlich zwar derbe gegen den Strich, aber für 2(?)€ / Monat kriege ich 10 Seiten (man kann bis zu 20 mitschleppen). Selbst mit 3rd Party Patronen heißt das, dass ich mal stabil fast 2 Jahre drucken kann, um break even zu kommen.
Negativpunkt ist natürlich diese beschissene Putzerei, die ewig viel Tinte frisst. Aber da ich ja pauschal 2€ zahle und dafür beliebig viele Patronen kriege, ist mit das schnuppe.
Also ja, HP ist kacke und in der Tat meistens absolut super kundenfeindlich, aber gerade funktioniert es halbwegs. Wenn jetzt natürlich wer kommt und mir erzählt, brother zB ist da besser / günstiger, lasse ich mich liebend gern beraten.

Zuerst einmal ist das ja mal wieder ein typisches Luxusproblem. Honig ist auch nix anderes als fancy Zuckersirup.
Das Problem beim Strecken ist für mich jedenfalls auch nicht wirklich das Strecken, können meinetwegen alle machen und dann Honig günstiger anbieten, aber dann soll das gefälligst auch lesbar vermerkt sein.
Industrieller Honig ist übrigens immer scheiße, rein ethisch betrachtet. Honig vom Imker um die Ecke dagegen ist vergleichsweise sehr häufig moralisch durchaus vertretbar. Wobei Moral ja durch persönliche Maßstäbe definiert wird.
