For anybody who ever used Windows 3.1, what was it like?

@evilcookies98 It was very odd. There was no desktop, I don't really know how to describe it. Basically all of the programs were in categories that you could move between, and they were all in like a grid thing. There wasn't really a windows key, or a start menu. If you wanted the run dialog, back then you pressed control R. The peogram manager had a menu bar.

@evilcookies98 actually, that's a little easier than you might think, that is assuming com0com still works on windows 10.

Is anybody seriously using Beeware Toga, particularly in an accessibility context? It seems like one of the most accessible cross-platform GUI frameworks out there, but the lack of popularity gives me pause.

@miki I've been playing with it a little bit, yeah. The main thing stopping me from going full throttle ahead with it is the lack of support for Nuitka yet. If you compile an app with Nuitka using Toga, last time I tried it it just wouldn't run, throwing some error about a thing that I can't remember now that I tried for ages to fix and couldn't.

@miki Don't particularly feel like changing my app distribution process just to use an unfinished UI toolkit.

@simon @hmaealdeza Honestly, I had a 14 Pro for a while and I hated it. That thing weighed as much as a sack of bricks. It wasn't even a max.

@simon @hmaealdeza on Android, I use HiQ MP3 recorder. on iOS, I use Alon Dictaphone.

@simon @hmaealdeza Yeah, I haven't been able to authorize it with Dropbox recently and they haven't updated it in a while, which is kind of sad, but I still prefer it's interface.

@FreakyFwoof @simon @hmaealdeza Only reason I would ever consider a Pro Max is better battery life, and better speakers. Yes they actually do seem to have different speakers.
