Update on job news: I actually got a call from the Masonic Temple in Detroit. I put my application in there about 3 weeks ago. They called & said I got the job. Yay!!
Eye appointment this morning. Hopefully getting a new pair of glasses. The light will mess up my eyes for about 3 hours after they dilate them. I hope my exam goes well.
Kind of frustrated. After talking to the ADA. They received my paperwork cuz the doctors office faxed it. The doctor didn't answer all the questions. She was supposed to put N/A where it didn't pertain to me. And instead of putting permanent she put 3 months. Which means I'd have to go through this again. My ADA is nice, said all my doctor has to do is revise it. Put permanent initial & date. N/A to the other questions. So I had to make another appointment for this morning.🤞🏻
Work was crazy today, because they told us the system was down. My supervisor said it was a widespread outage. So I checked the internet & our company had a cyber attack.
Last night we opened up our dorwal (patio door) to let in some cool fresh air. Two of our cats were sitting there, & a stray cat walked by. Our cats went nuts broke through the screen & went after it. One cat just stayed on the deck. My hubby spent 20 terrifying minutes & finally found the other one in a neighbors yard in the bush's.
I called off of work tomorrow. My hubby has an appointment in the morning with a retina specialist. He will probably have his eyes dilated. I hope he can get some answers tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for all the good vibes & positive thoughts. I did my paperwork, & drug test. Next week that should all clear & then I'll get a schedule. My new boss is nice & used to work at the same place I'm quitting. So she totally understands how I feel. I'm beyond thankful to be starting a new chapter soon.
It felt really good to turn in my uniforms, & badges today. Some people thought I was retiring. I wish, about 4 more years hopefully. I do feel a bit in limbo though cuz I haven't got a schedule yet. I hope that happens this week.
