Interesting point. We’ve lamented for years about the #NHLJets and their inability to live up to the apparent potential of the players. Blame has been attributed in many directions: at some players, the coach(es), the GM but rarely at the owners/top management. Now it makes me wonder, have some of the team issues resulted from some sort of mis-management or interference from TNSE? 1/2

There have been so many anomalies over the years. Buff’s departure, Laine’s malaise, PoMo’s sudden resignation, one has to wonder what might be going on behind the scenes… 2/2
Happy Draftmas Eve, for all those that celebrate! The football season is about to begin!
NFL draft tomorrow, CFL draft on April 30th, and my beloved Blue Bombers open their rookie camp on May 8th. Looking forward to 8 months of football action!
This video is 6 years old, so there is nothing new here. Even so,
(1) It sure gets my adrenaline going, and
(2) It's hard not to choke up a little when Don Wittman begins speaking at 1:58 in.
One hell of a game by Rachel Homan and her team! Team Canada wins the Worlds for the first time since Jennifer Jones in 2018. Her "3" in the 9th end sealed the deal.
It's been a long time since I've seen a scam attempt this silly. Kind of makes you pine for the good old days when it was a whole lot easier to avoid online fraud.
So, he's a righty (a need for us). And The Athletic says that he's a good 5v5 player at both ends of the ice. So, seems like another savvy pickup by Cheveldayoff?
After several years, I just finished rewatching "Searching for Sugar Man". 10/10 - just an absolutely amazing story. Hairs standing up on the back of my neck, tears streaming down my face.
It's a documentary about a musician - that's all I'll say, for those that haven't seen it. It's too good a story to ruin.
In Canada, it's free to watch on Amazon Prime. I can guarantee you won't regret watching it, especially you @JeffDanielswpg.
For some reason, I actually remember how I found out about the movie - Peter Mansbridge posted on Twitter how much he enjoyed it, probably shortly after it came out. Those were the good old days, when the dirty bird wasn't an extreme cesspool. Sigh...
