I don't think I realized just how blurred the lines were between sponsor and review exchanges in the camera scene. Kinda scary, things that wouldn't begin to fly in the normal tech space.
No wonder the camera reviewers are fed up with brands, there's no good divide there.

Instead of using AI to generate ripoffs of stuff for your "inspiration" or concepting... just be honest about your sources of inspiration and build a mood board from them. Betters the process every step of the way.

This is why YouTube isn't for creators like me anymore. Creators who want to help people, make entertaining and valuable content that people look for, etc.
You search for something and you're bombarded with Shorts, ways to spend money, and even after a couple real search results you get "People also watched" (barely related) and then "For you" sections that aren't remotely relevant to the search results.
Core functionality CANNOT be neutered for distracting goals or the whole thing is ruined.

Every time I find a cool channel that's gotten 500k-4m subs from Shorts, their normal videos have like no views by comparison. That's just so... sad. The system on YouTube is so messed up trying to copy TikTok. It's going to crash and burn.

Discovering a new YouTube channel with HIGH quality content, binging their videos because they've only been around 9 months, and then being done is an EXHILIRATING experience.
But also quite defeating.

Honestly, my favorite performance parts of my Mac Studio thus far have been the untangible bits. The fact that I can have a massive 8K project open in Resolve, a huge Ableton project, Lr/Capture One importing photos, and a thousand browser tabs open and forget all that's open.

Easy. There's X to the power of infinity posts being made every day and flooding every user's feeds, and yours doesn't magically get priority over everyone else's. People aren't sitting there F5-ing for each new post.
On top of obvious algo-based manipulation.
