Google Photos/Gmail AI data removal

Hello, with the new AI features being added into Googles services I was thinking of maybe starting a thread about how to remove data from the affected services. I feel like simply deleting my photos from Google Photos most likely wouldn’t be enough of a measure to ensure my images does not get affected or used in these AI...

Once again for gaming I’ll vouch for Nobara, not because I’ve tried too much else but everything just worked out of the box. No monitor issues, no driver problems, fixes, patches and tweaks pre-applied. Just all around a good experience.

I fucking wish Through the Gorge actually became I real game, I am so sad it was just another Kickstarter scam.

For anyone who wants the origin:

This came from a Facebook meme page titled “Welcome to my meme page” with 330k likes which posted general memes and images in this format. A Kickstarter was launched by “Brother Abernathy” to make it into an actual game titled “Through the Gorge”. The creator claimed to have a team working on it and posted some updates on the Kickstarter page but the updates became more and more scarce over time. Eventually he stopped posting and left the Kickstarter page up with the fans wondering what was going on.

I don’t know about the specifics but went back in every now and then to check in on the progress.

The Kickstarter made $18,415 dollars with nothing being delivered to the backers.

Thank you very much. The DM setting where shuffled a bit in Plasma 6, but I managed to find it under SDDM > Behaviour.

This is fine for my use case. I don run wifi on my gaming rig but I guess I’ll see if any other things prompt me for password after logging in next time.

Edit: Nope, I have no clue what is even possibly stored in Kwallet, if anything, but it still pops up and requests password. Ironically i went from typing my password 2 times to 3 times by enabling auto-login. I know have to unlock the keyring once I login, and then unlock Kwallet once I try to launch Discord. We love it.

No, auto-unencrypting sounds like it would defeat the entire point of an encrypted drive to begin with. I’m only using auto login.

I’ve been using Nobara for some time and it’s amazing. Nice installer and gets all drivers and fixed applied from the get go. Also it is maintained by GloriousEggroll himself.

Sorry if my irony wasn’t too obvious. It certainly is not supposed to look that way. There are a lot of pages all over the internet that function just as garbage as this, especially on mobile. That’s why I meant it looks “normal” as in not out of the ordinary.

De-google everything. I use a VPN and run LibreWolf with some plugins like uBlock, uMatrix, deArrow and SponsorBlock. Still haven’t gotten around installing Lineage on my phone to get rid of Google there, but at least I run VPN on my phone at all times aswell.

Now since I use LibreWolf it deletes cookies on every shutdown. This is a bit annoying because I have to log back in every time I visit websites. Therefore I run BitWarden and have also allowed some cookies in website settings.

Its not the best privacy solutions but it’s an easy setup for a lot of profit imo.

Almost, this seems to contain the rollback from Android 13 to Android 12. I cant find any article about rolling back 14 to 13.
