It's great that small villages put up these so you can find the nearest pub.

One thing you cannot explain to non-programmers is that feeling when you have spent hours and hours finding/fixing/programming a specific problem, then you finally get it to work.

That feeling is what drives us. Shame it's 20 to 1 , pain to euphoria.

How did we do...

Well, you have only so far managed to take money from me, so on that basis, yes, you did very well.

Can I reserve judgement until I actually receive the goods ?

Quick tip...

If you have drilled a hole in the wrong place, paint around the outside of the hole with yellow paint, and the hole will get magically filled in.

Doesn't work for you ?

No, me neither, but our council seems to think this is the way to fix potholes.

Honeysuckle trim and gazebo repair this weekend (if it isn't raining). Started today, managed to clear back so we can again see our

Three dogs rest here, because they all loved it under this honeysuckle bush.

Old broken gazebo post needs digging out of the concrete it was set in 20+ years ago, I'm not looking forward to this.

Concrete dog lots of twigs, leaves and some stones with moss.

BASIC is 60 years old today.

This was my first BASIC book, although my first actual BASIC was NASCOM Tiny Basic IIRC 1978

New project PCBs arrived so I now have a small Pi Picow phone, the Pi-Tele-Cow.

This is a Full stack* develpment. I'm writing or modifying all the code from UDP upwards.

SIP RDP etc..

Currently can make and receive calls via SIP (with errors)

This is being developed alongside the Farnsworths.

*Full Stack refers to my pile of unfinished projects.

Any similarity with any other logos is purely coincidental.

White 3d printed case on top of a circuit diagram. Blue PCB with 15 push buttons 0-9 * # answer and call clear

So, Ive been playing with VOIP and I have been stuck with a strange issue I failed to debug for 3+ weeks.

When sending a SIP packet with an SDP payload I always get an error "Error parsing/validating SDP body: Invalid SDP descriptor " from my Asterisk Server

Regardless of payload.

Ive been through the RFC, I've taken logs, Ive tried three versions of Asterisk, nothing worked.

I'm being really good, I'm restricting myself to only 20 tabs open, at once, in a browser window.

Of course, there is no limit to the number of windows I can open.

If asking for directions to walk to a place was on an Internet technical forum.

"Well I wouldn't start from here"

"Catch a bus, the driver will know"

"Why do you want to go there xxx is better"

"You are using the wrong shoes, try £5000 worth of wellingtons"

"My friend once walked to somewhere else"

"Don't walk trains are better"

"Turn right before you get to the bridge"

"Never heard of xxx "

"Read the f%£%%$g map!"

After 18 months, my large Wimshurst is in need of some maintenance. Today's job replace the scraped/damaged sectors.

Briefly back onto the Farnsworths. Finished both cases, but one of the displays died, and the replacement sent was wrong. So waiting (again) to get the second one running.

Moved the Strowger script and the test card script onto an Internet facing server. Currently, I can only try the test card and remote loop back.

Maybe I aught to teach it sarcasm, with a large ball peen sarcasm teaching implement.
