I will say, as someone who has been looking for a simple way to install Linux on my Windows desktop at home, this is incredibly useful. Doubly so as I’m not very experienced with installing OS’s and Linux can look very intimidating to an outsider looking in!
I would like to stop voting for people who beat me with hammers, personally. I don’t think voting for the guy beating me with a hammer is going to get him to stop beating me with a hammer.
It will make no material difference who you vote for. You cannot say “trump will be worse” when people are being firebombed in Rafah right now and the guy in power is doing nothing to stop it, and in fact actively blocking attempts to make it stop. You’ve got student protests being smeared as antisemitic and being violently broken up by police and zionists. From where I’m standing, it really really seems that my 2020 “harm reduction” vote backfired hard and really just gave cover for all of this horrible shit to happen anyways.
What happens in November is up to Biden – it will not be the fault of the protest voter if Trump is elected. The questions remain: does the Democratic party fear Trump as much as we do? And does it value its voters enough to shift away from an approach to the onslaught in Gaza that a majority of Democratic voters are against?
They’re being leveled now, soooo, what really changes? Tbh I’m not even convinced biden will make it stop in his second term, it’ll be back to business as usual.
Hello! I was curious, was this post going to be restored and the actual reported uncivil comment removed? From what I’m seeing, this reported comment is still up and active.
Hell yeah, so if I hate them both the same then they both get my vote? But I was already planning on voting for the PSL, are you saying I get 3 votes? If not voting for biden is a vote for trump, then that also means that not voting for trump is a vote for biden. Do my not-biden and not-trump votes cancel each other out? Does the PSL get all 3 votes??? American democracy is so confusing…
If trump is truly an existential threat to democracy and our country, biden should order the military to assassinate him. He’d be 100% justified in doing so. You’d shoot hitler to protect democracy, right? that’d be a surefire way to get my vote, tbh. I voted for biden as the “harm reduction” candidate in 2020 and it really seems like that blew up in our collective faces big time, so I’m gonna avoid stepping on that rake again.
Wow, you said you didn’t know which country had legalized slavery, and I answered and you turned into an obstinate asshole for some reason. What a weird way to behave!
Since the days the first settlers landed here, the backbone of the US economy has been forced labor. It’s only natural that we would enshrine it in our constitution.
