As a (non-catholic) German I have literally never heard of such a thing, neither of the tradition nor of a thing called candlemas. I love the idea to make it a dedicated crêpe day though and celebrating the arrival of spring is always a good thing. So count me in next year!

This is so sad. We need a better plan to implement these goals, keeping things as easy and profitable as possible, not abandon them altogether. Now I fear we’re at another point of just doing nothing, making matters worse each year for everyone, especially farmers.
People forget it’s not just the shipping itself. First of all, ships just like every other vehicle need more energy to move the heavier they are. Secondly the ice needs to be cooled for most of the trip and portable coolers are real energy guzzlers. So without doing the maths transporting ice from Greenland to Dubai is much more harmful than ships with empty containers on the same way.
Ich weiß ja nicht, wie das in deiner Gemeinde ist, aber bei mir Zuhause spielen “die große Politik” und damit auch Parteien etc. nur eine nebensächliche Rolle in den Kommunalwahlen. Man kennt sich und wählt jemanden, der die Gemeinde voranbringen will (oder eben die/den gleiche/n wie immer).
I bet on the first option. It’s maybe a way of convincing the people that all those topics were opinions of the minority. The protests and therefore resistance might quiet down if enough people think that the average citizen would support the war and Putin in general.
Weil Hamburg nur Teil Holsteins war, solange es selbst noch nichts zu melden hatte. Es hat sich schnell zu einer “Freien Stadt” entwickelt, deren Unabhängigkeit Dänemark anerkennen musste. So hätte zum Zeitpunkt der Einigkeit von Schleswig und Holstein keiner mehr gesagt “Also eigentlich müsste Hamburg auch dazu gehören.” Das war einfach kein Thema mehr. Also stand es als Hauptstadt auch nie zur Debatte.

Denke die erste große Teilung passierte als Holstein im 13. JH dänisch wurde, Hamburg aber ein Teil des Hl. Römischen Reiches blieb und “nur” von Dänemark verwaltet wurde?

Als Dorfkind kam ich damit “zwar erst” im fortgeschrittenen Jugendlichen-Alter in Berührung, aber da war es dann eher das wer, das jeder kannte und wusste als das wo. Trotzdem unproblematisch für jeden, der auf sowas abfährt.
Milchnudeln, so wie Milchreis nur halt mit Nudeln, funktionieren auch gut und sind sehr lecker. Könnte mir diese Variante also auch zumindest vorstellen. Leider scheitert das Probieren bei mir auch an den Erdbeeren.

Hab diesen Pudding letztens im Supermarkt gesehen und wollte ihn gestern Abend zum Nachtisch probieren. Mit der No Muuh Milch von Rewe wurde aber mehr eine etwas dickflüssige Karamellsuppe draus. Hat jemand andere Erfahrungen gemacht?
Das ganze haben die als “Seelenwärmer” auch in nicht-vegan. Ist cremiger als normaler Pudding, was die im Original sicherlich mit Milchpulver oder so machen, und zum warm essen gedacht. So muss die Milch scheinbar auch nicht aufgekocht werden für die Reaktion sondern nur gut erwärmt, was das ganze natürlich schneller essbar macht. Ist eine unnötige Spielerei, wollte dem aber mal eine Chance geben.
Tatsächlich war diese sogar günstiger als die nicht-vegane Variante, könnte aber natürlich nur ein Probierpreis sein (hab kein Angebotsschild gesehen).
