Ain’t no way they investigated themselves and found nothing wrong? Shocking.

Scumbags are trying to sue Madison for defamation.

I hope one day their stupid media empire implodes. Anyone remember Fine Brothers?

Yes LTT has other revenue streams but those all are dependant on the content they produce, no one will buy LTT merch if they stopped making videos.

FuckyWucky,

that doesn’t change the reality that labour isnt going to do shit.

ICJ orders Israel to halt Rafah offensive (www.aljazeera.com)

Nawaf Salam, the head of the International Court of Justice: “Israel must immediately hold its military offensive of any other action in the Rafah governorate which may inflict on the Palestinian group in Gaza, conditions of life that could bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.”

FuckyWucky,

Wow good job at doing nothing, Sunak.

Of course, Labour is doing neoliberal inflation targeting nonsense

“The Labour MP tells the BBC’s Today programme that he welcomes the news that inflation is “coming down” but stresses that the Bank’s target rate of 2% is where the country should be.”

The “target rate” is achieved by creating unemployment.

FuckyWucky,

Cucked fucking country. All the executives deserve firing squad.

FuckyWucky,

i kinda miss 2021, even with all the death.

FuckyWucky,

Yea i remember WEF being so scared they wanted to return to post-WW2 demand managed welfare state.

FuckyWucky,

Natural monopolies and all. Gotta shove a market everywhere, even where it makes no sense.

I don’t agree with either, tbh. I don’t support the latest tweet because I don’t believe America needs to “lead the world” in EVs or solar panels, it’s American exceptionalist nonsense.

Also, tariffs don’t necessarily mean American people pay for it. China doesn’t pay for tariffs, obviously. They can sell to other countries or for domestic use instead if Americans don’t wish to import their goods.

If the tariffs are imposed along with an increased state role in domestic production of EVs and solar panels, with proper planning like China did, the U.S. could achieve domestic production of the same quality in long run.

But in reality, there won’t be any proper planning. The U.S. government is incompetent. So, you’ll end up having inferior, overpriced cars.

FuckyWucky,

Sticking to tough spending rules in order to deliver economic stability

Code for austerity, some arbitrary cap on fiscal deficit.

Setting up Great British Energy, a publicly owned clean power energy company

How could that be done if spending rules are ‘tough’? By raising taxes on the rich? I highly doubt that even with the higher taxes, the Government would be able to raise enough revenues to ‘fund’ a green transition.

Cutting NHS waiting lists by providing 40,000 more appointments each week - funded by tackling tax avoidance and non-dom loopholes.

NHS would require a shit ton more spending than whatever could be raised by tackling tax avoidance. Decades of austerity has to be compensated for.

Launching a border security command to stop the gangs arranging small boat crossings

Hitler particles detected. How will the security command be paid for? NHS has to be funded by ‘tackling tax avoidance’ but funds for border security never need to be ‘raised’.

Providing more neighbourhood police officers to reduce antisocial behaviour and introduced new penalties for offenders

What is antisocial behaviour? Loitering? Also how are revenues for police officers raised? Every bit of welfare has to be ‘paid for’ by raising taxes or whatever but there is no mention of how police officer salaries would be paid for.

Recruiting 6,500 teachers, paid for through ending tax breaks for private schools.

Its fascinating how he can’t just say ‘Recruiting 6,500 teachers’, he has to ‘pay for it’ with something else. Why do private schools exist in the first place?

This is so bad, Starmer is really showing that he is not different from the Tories.

FuckyWucky,

Austerity, border guards & increased policing, yes. Everything else, no.

FuckyWucky,

What’s next, they shut down the internet in West Bank? I read on Al-Jazeera that West Bank only has 3G internet because Israel won’t allow them.

Incredibly bullish top comment on /r/Buttcoin thread... But they still think it's a scam (www.reddit.com)

I just found it really funny that the Bitcoin haters at /r/Buttcoin are talking up how banks are avoiding Bitcoin but the top comment confirming this admits there is massive client side demand from institutions and family offices…...

FuckyWucky, (edited )

Bitcoin is dogshit.

  1. Slow transactions (lightning is BS, good luck getting fake ID sellers to take it over USDT)
  2. High fees
  3. Very volatile and not backed by anything. So not really suitable for trade.
  4. Crypto in general is suseptible to fraud. “Be your own bank” is nonsense. Real banks have Government backing.
  5. There is no obligation for anyone to use it for regular transactions. Not legal tender, you can’t pay taxes with it. There is no reason for any Government to accept Bitcoin because of how restrictive it is (limited supply and all other flaws mentioned).

There are two ways to obtain Bitcoin:

  1. Mine it with ASICs in which case you pay the power company in dollars (or whatever fiat currency), the ASIC seller with dollars
  2. Buy in secondary markets where you still have to pay some fiat currency to get it.

The Government comes in and asks you to pay capital gains tax (in fiat currency) on whatever you mined, if you cannot find someone else to sell the crypto to at the appropriate price, the Government comes in and liquidates your assets and possibly throw you in prison.

It is a casino token for gamblers. The only real reason you hold any crypto is because you expect it to go up in the future, but there are only so many people who want to hold something which has no real use.
