oh shit, doctor who got destroyed by disney :blobcatpain:

alex,

@Jain The only thing I'm not a fan of is the whole 'bi-generation - bam! now every past Doctor is still alive' thing. (RTD's idea is that when the Doctors died they bi-generated into splinter universes, but uhh how?)

The Doctor split themselves once, that means two sets of Doctors (with two different sets of regeneration, I'm guessing?).
Still doesn't explain how every past Doctor can still be alive.
Not buying that silly headcanon, it's ridiculous.
He's just pulling lore out of his arse and trying to explain it.

@alex :blobcatthinkOwO: looks like im on the opposite of it... I dont mind if they use some weird tricks and explenatons so that they can continue their story...
But what i dont like is when they throw away certain behavior which every doctor had... Like handling the tardis, the first walk into the tardis or other small stuff like that...
I now saw the first 3 episodes and i kinda agree... It isnt so bad but the first episode belongs to the trash

:blobcatgoogly: trying to figure out how the parliament does its job...
i guess i still cant match people's votes to parliament votes properly...

icedquinn,
@icedquinn@blob.cat avatar

@Jain in the usa thats because there is no correlation between congress and what the public wants :blobcatovo:

for example i want power grid stability, and the governor wants to ban porn

Jain,
@Jain@blob.cat avatar

@icedquinn
there are public votes and there are votes of the parliament before the public voting happens...
i would love to create a tool which one can compare its own vote against the vote of the parliament...
the data is there but the interpretation is not easy since they vote sometimes for different reasons and not the exact same vote of the public

@fedilore @alex @lucretia @paragon @tbsbot I do to some point. Imho Ro has a bigger ego and criticism of him, his ideas and towards his projects offends him a lot. My unique interaction with him shows how he does see criticism as a threat. I can accept that people do have other values and are accepting shared blocklists even tho i dont like them. For example that happened with Seirdy. But Ro immediatly stepped out of line and has started to frame me as a threat.
