When I was out photographing tree blossoms here in Toronto yesterday, I made a point to shoot blossoms on trees that were overhanging or at least right beside the sidewalk (so I wouldn’t be on anyone’s property) and I always pointed the lens away from the house. I can’t help but think in light of recent events in the US there are places there where homeowners would have come out guns a’blazing if they had seen me with my camera. Sad.

If the NDP and Libs were really upset about the result of the last Ontario election, they'd be doing some serious work on what in their parties' internal cultures led them to have such lacklustre, unpopular leaders & platform going into it. Is that happening? Maybe in secret?

@hamishb I see too many NDP and Liberal supporters still just pointing the finger of blame at "lazy voters." Both parties need to be accountable for doing so poorly.

Watching a couple of videos on YouTube about referees and umpires quitting due to abuse from parents and coaches. Why can’t amateur sporting disputes be settled like everything else is? In case of conflict, get the two sides together, determine which side has more money, and let that side get its way. /s

@gemelliz @LeslieMaggie @iPedro My fear is Matlow/Chow supporter infighting could allow an obedient right wing stooge to come up the middle, but yes, if someone Ford and/or his owners don't like wins, Ford has lots of tools at his disposal to dictate how things go in Toronto.
