I wonder what's bought on all these #DDoS attacks on #OpenSource servers ? Are they related and someone has pissed on someone else's parade ? Or is it indirectly a big corp that can't stand to see free and open source software prevailing over their paid setups ???
Whatever it is I hope folk manage to combat it somehow.
Does anyone know if you compose a toot on #Tusky using a #GlitchSoc#Mastodon account will it give you the drop down options for plain text, markdown and HTML ? Or is that web only ?
I think after all that @drewdevault and the team have done and had to endure over these past couple of days. The least I can do is up my payments to #SourceHut for providing such an amazing service and for being so transparent about what's happening and why. Unbelievable that #SourceHut has been under a #DDOS attack since yesterday. Their status page is kindly hosted by #Codeberg who recently posted a message of sympathy to the SourceHut team. Now they too are experiencing a DDOS attack !
What's the need really other than pure hatred ?

Early start on Friday probably 3-4am as I've to be up in Scrabster for 9am. I've a radar to repair or remove and then install a new one if need be. This week just keeps on getting better. I know drop the sarcasm. ๐
@JustineSmithies Oh - and we're kinda related by the industries and services in which we work: I manage IT managed services for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, although other teams handle radio & RNIR.

Since going back to work on Wednesday myself and Julie decided to get our acts together and get back on plan with #SlimmingWorld . I mean we have gone off the rails a little and I used to be a target member having reached and stayed St my previous target for at least a year. So we've been eating all the good stuff and I've not totally given up drinking as I've swapped red wine for Gin and slimline tonic. Fingers crossed I can do this again and not ruin it when I get stressed at work.
