This happened because of willful disregard of the rules that are in place to prevent this sort of thing, and Jaime handled perfectly: she escalated instead of bowing to an unfair ruling.

Nah, the government. Trying to de-radicalize people with ingrained beliefs is hard and unlikely. Accept the parent’s wierd beliefs, let the kids go to school wearing whatever the parents want, and you get much less radical kids out the other end.

A law that cannot be enforced does nothing, and a law that creates discrimination in enforcement is a discriminatory law.
That looks horrible. Cramped, the giant windows means it’s hot and the sun is always in your eyes… Any reason they need to only use one rail? We already have road & rail buses, trucks, etc…just use those.

None of these points are relevant. Nobody is selling SMRs as better than large-scale plants (at least I hope they’re not). The point of SMRs is that they are much easier to bring in and put down. A huge portion of the world still runs on fossil fuels, often with frequent brownouts or scheduled blackouts. Being able to bring in a RELIABLE non-fossil fuel power plant at a smaller scale would be huge. Distributed solar has some pretty awesome potential for individual households if you don’t care about on- demand power, but you do eventually need something for your denser cities etc.

Make ebikes. They use ~100 times smaller batteries. Start putting down bike/NEV lanes, make cargo ebikes/mopeds. Stop trying to shoehorn your 0-60 in 5 seconds mid-life crisis vehicle into climate sustainability.
It matters because liberalism is inherently supportive of capitalism, a force of unchecked destruction that is incredibly harmful to the working class and indeed the entire world. To fight this requires you to reject liberalism. There is no other way. Any time you see ‘leftist’ you can just sub in ‘anti-capitalist’ if that’s something you’re more familiar with.
It strikes me that this could be quite useful when used proactively.

It would be good at providing ongoing feedback for the GM to guide their style over time.
I love the idea of the danger just being…plants. Invasive species? Although it’s really the humans that are invasive.
