@kaiserkiwi I love that everyone pretty much says to stay away from Frankfurt, I appreciate that you're all kind enough to be honest in what you think of these places. I wouldn't want to go to a place like that if I can help it. 😅

I think a trip across the water would cost about a similar price as going to London because travel and accommodation is already expensive there and the resellers have made tickets almost 4x more than the original price.

I could buy a ticket for Berlin and if things fall through I can always sell my ticket anyways. The event is on a Monday in March so it's way off anyways. 😂

Nabbed a ticket for the event in Berlin in March next year, if I change my mind I'll go to Köln.

I'm equally tied between them but I've snatched a ticket because ticket prices are stupidly inflated in the UK and I would hate for my indecisiveness to cost me even more.

It's an excuse for a nice trip wandering come rain or shine. I hope my health will be okay. 😅

@kaiserkiwi Joost Klein's 2025 Tour. He does "Gabber-pop", it a mix of gabber, happy core and other genres. It almost takes me back to the 1990s. I'm not really one for clubs but I do enjoy going to concerts of all kinds of genres from time to time.

If I enjoy the city I will come again another time and maybe have a better informed bucket list of places I didn't get to explore the first time! 😅 (Or maybe more concerts for some bands if I can't get reasonable tickets in the UK! )

There was a bombing in my city at a concert that killed people and so yeah, I don't think it's unreasonable to worry about safety.

As a team effort between my toddler and my robot vacuum cleaner, I now have an injured foot. 😅

A toy building block was lying around and the robot vacuum cleaner pushed it against a connection ledge of the floor. I didn't see it because it's about the same colour as the floor and I ran into it at full speed.

It's bleeding and hurts like hell. Keep your fingers crossed that it's nothing serious. 🙃

I hate HomePods so much at this point. Playing music in my living room and it's a bit too loud. I want Siri to reduce the volume and it cries about a missing internet connection.

They used to sound great but they were quite limited in function, I'm glad it works well for you now.
