Not looking to start a debate, and as an anarchist I’ve come to a pretty solid conclusion that election isn’t going to fix anything, but I also see the point that Trump and his supporters are more extreme fascists than the obvious fascist currently in office....
Even on tumblr, most people will tag it so people like me can filter it. I’m not clicking the post, but if it’s the word I think it is, then yes – it elicits an immediate involuntary trauma response in me, so even on tumblr I filter it.
I’m not saying not to use it, but I’m really thankful when people are thoughtful about it. There’s a reason it’s generally considered a slur. May have something to do with me being older and growing up in a very much not safe place for LGBTQIA+ people, so my experience with it was … not good. Wish I could move past that, but I have my coping mechanisms like what I described above.

This is a side note, but I’ve never understood the concept of changing one’s diet or consulting a professional before doing so. Other than trying to eat my vegetables and avoiding gluten and dairy (because I have celiac and lactose intolerance), my diet is wildly inconsistent.
