Dentistry care in this country is all such a rip off and if we are not careful it will soon be extended to all health care.

Also going to the dentist should not be for those privileged enough to afford it.

And don't tell me there is NHS dentist for those who can't afford it. Yes for the absolute poorest but for those who work but barely scrape by.... you gotta pay.

@Daojoan I do agree but also with search engines, especially Google, mostly useless now people finding new followers is not easy unless you capture them off socials and people have been completely trained into never leaving the main platforms they use.

Also when it comes to adult content, yes it is the only way to share it without being removed BUT it is still almost impossible to monetise it

Wondering if there is a real solution to the current #pornapocolypse with sites suspending accounts that provide any sort of sex related material? My understanding is that at the heart of it are the two card providers, MasterCard and Visa, that are being effectively bullied by christian lobby groups. This in turn pushes down to payment processors who are under pressure from the card companies. So payment processors become the literal gatekeepers for money related to what the christian groups consider immoral.

So what is the solution? A well funded campaign from the sex industry and supporters to claim discrimination from payment processors that prevents them from earning legal income, because the vast majority is entirely legal? Legal action related to the discrimination against the payment processors and by extension the card companies?

Whilst the sex industry is well funded overall by consumers through purchases, most of those people will not outwardly support the industry.

@Starcross @KellyandRoger I agree somewhat but also the OF rules ban lots of completely legal things. You can't have any period blood, piss play, female ejaculation, you can't post anything that implies you are a sex worker for hire. Lots of BDSM play is ruled out.

I do agree that sites absolutely don't want to do the work that is involved to keep the payment companies off their backs though.

This is a genuine question because I know that I overthink.

If someone says that they think you are hot but only ever post and boost body types that are nowhere even similar to yours, do you believe them?

I struggle to believe that people who, over months of image sharing have only posted/boosted slender models mean it when they say that they like mine.

My images contain fat.

@ht_honey I will be really interested to see what replies you get to this because I have definitely experienced this. Both in terms of body size but also in terms of age.

If all someone does is share images of pics of people who are 20+ years younger than me and a conventionally 'perfect bod' I am always dubious.

I will say there is a massive lack of images of people who don't fit that description which part of why i share mine but still.

@vagina_museum many years ago I posted a pic in my knickers but you could see some of my pubic hair. They removed it as sexual content. I retook the picture making sure there was not a glimpse of fanny hair and that image was never censored

It's not often a famous person dies, and I feel it. I don't have much interest in them, but there are some, & hearing Steve Wright had died really made me sad. I grew up listening to his afternoon show on Radio 1, then all the years being a stay at home Mum listening to him on Radio 2. Often, with the kids in the car laughing at stuff together.

My use/love of the words malarkey and also mupperty definitely came from him.
