Western Australians really don’t know what they’re missing out on, with no pokies in local pubs. And I’d personally love to keep it that way.
This mostly turns the event into an event for runners, and no longer a fun-run.
I am slow, and would have no trouble at all with two and a half hours. The one marathon I ran: I was two hours ten at the half way point. For context, world class runners do a whole marathon faster than this.
My marathon time would never qualify for a proper world event. But it’d be nice to maybe do a half. This time limit keeps it accessible to runners of ‘human’ levels, still.
One of my kids took a while to be able to handle dairy. These things allowed him to have chocolate bikkies. Every other brand I found at the time had dairy in them.
The ‘not enough’ argument is the only one I’ve heard against the voice that actually makes any kind of sense.

Wow things have changed in Melbourne in the last few years since I lived there if people love the trains, now. When I was in there everyone bitched and complained about the trains every day.

These types have always been around. Decent odds he’s already reading these comments and feeling chuffed that’s he’s gotten to you. It’s exactly the sort of response they want. They love invoking emotional reactions in others.
What they hate is being ignored. That happens to them all the time in the real world. Online they have power. When you deny them that power, it brings home how significant they really are(n’t).

Remote workers are already cheaper for their employers. A workforce of several hundred employees where 90% of them are remote can happily exist using a fraction of the commercial office space that a fully onsite workforce would need.

I proposed to my wife under the centre dome of the Exhibition Building. I have sunk hundreds of hours in this game. It is so good! I first picked it up for free when Epic Games launched. I loved it so much I bought it again on Steam.
The game doesn’t hold your hand. Lots of people give up because they don’t know what to do. I recommend getting the repair tool and repairing the radio in the pod. From there, you’ll get some signals telling you to do things. Beyond that, sit down and read the clues in your PDA. I mean it about sitting down: While sitting, your thirst/hunger timers are paused.
There is a plot, but how much of it you discover is up to you. It’s not linear in nature.
