I am currently using Freefilesync Flatpak, but that app is not great at all. I dont want weird archives or anything, just to copy my filesystem to another drive....
True. In the current way, there really is no reason to use Firefox for privacy people. Instead, you just use a really private browser and mozillas way of making money makes no sense.
If they where simply being legit out of the box, why not use it? I would donate all the time if they just asked?
Those privacy browsers are small UI and settings changes, thats it. They are nothing without Firefox.
Some. But it loads all the bullshit Javascript and doesnt have Ublock preinstalled.
Also the security mode is set to “useless” by default. I only know one site, ojogos.com.br a stupid popup ad-to-play website that wont run on secure Firefox settings

Fedora packages a Flatpak Firefox themselves, based off the RPM. So its good too, but lacks codecs with currently no way to enable them so yeah. They would need am extension of some sort hosted on Flathub. So simply using Firefox Flatpak from Flathub makes more sense.
I got a Nitrokey for Heads but for some reason it never arrived? I can say these things are very expensive. And Heads uses PGP and not others.

Are there any downsides to using Homebrew as a package manager on Linux?
I’m especially concerned about it being somehow broken, unwieldy, insecure or privacy-invasive....
