They are located in your profile directory under extensions.
Finding them is more challenging for most, since most don’t have named IDs. I am willing to bet this one does though.
For addons that don’t, you can find the ID by going to the addons page, hitting “debug addons”, then looking for your addon on that page where it will list the “Extension ID”, which should be the name it’s saved under.

The correct answer is neither the distance to the sun nor the distribution of the populagion, though the latter is related to the answer. It is because more land is on the northern hemisphere than on the southern hemisphere. This also holds when weigthed with the suns angle of incidence across the seasons.
Land changes temperature more quickly, so the oscillation over the year from it is larger than from water, dominating it here.

In the northern summer earth is further away from the sun, so this neglegible effect is not the reason, but rather is getting overpowered by the effect of water keeping the temperatures more steady over the year than land

Linux for Microsoft Surface devices. It is reality! (cloudblogs.microsoft.com)

I would like to share with you a very cool project that develops drivers for correct operation of Microsoft Surface devices on Linux. I myself use Surface Pro 6 with these drivers and everything works like a charm (battery life is good, cameras work, stylus, keyboard, touchscreen, screen). The developers are gods. From myself, I...

where is/was that image? I don’t see it

Just like dndmemes, it’s not that they removed the nsfw content, they removed everything. There is a hand full of posts left from over a month of content. On dndmemes they bothered to sort out maybe 30 non-nsfw posts from the highest rated posts, here it’s more like 5. Seems they are getting even lazier about it.

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Looking at dndmemes now I wanna say they even borked various sorting styles to make this harder to see

Brilliant news. Will it be getting a lemmy version?

(t’was on fdroid the entire time)

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Yes, though I just noticed it is on the IzzyOnDroid repo, the “fast track” fdroid repo. You may not have it enabled if you didn’t see it in fdroid

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

I have the extension “Old Reddit Redirect” in my firefox mobile. You need a version with custom addon collections enabled (beta or a fork like fennec on fdroid), then you can install every addon by adding it to your collection, and most of them work.
If RES or an equivalent addon could produce a good mobile layout you could use them in the same way, but I don’t know about that.

almost all the money. Which is an issue that needs to be addressed.
If the poor finally have no money at all they will be happy when feudalism is reintroduced, so everyones debts can be erased and we can finally switch to the superior class-based society.

where are they not? All apps I have seen make codeblocks properly monospace.

Is
wwwww
and
lllll
not the same width on your end?

Or

<pre style="background-color:#ffffff;">
<span style="color:#323232;">wwwww
</span><span style="color:#323232;">lllll
</span>

?

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Which app are you using? It is probably a bug in it, not lemmy

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Isn’t that for developers to replace reliance on webview rather than users to replace their webview implementation?

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

There was bromite but that seems to have died. open webview has some similar webview replacements I think, but I havent gotten it to install yet so can’t promise anything.

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Yes, webviews need some configuration in the system partition to be used as such. To change or overlay the system partition you need root

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

What you want them to do is enable HSTS

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Oh, you are almost right, I was wrong. Checking the network traffic it seems images (and some parts of posts?) are fetched directly, but other elements are fetched through wefwef.app, namely everything that needs the users session. maybe this is done to process some lemmy outputs serverside into for example the notification icon? This surprised me, I was confident the only requests to wefwef.app would be static elements and the code itself.

This is about cors headers on the api calls? That only don’t affect other apps because they are offline and ignore cors?

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Makes sense, never thought about that. An annoying situation, I wonder how many security issues would crop up if browsers allowed ignoring cors for pwas…

Currently apicalls are proxied through the server but end up with the lient all the same, with the session being stored in local storage “credentials”?
Will you currate a manual whitelist for direct calls or have the app test if direct fails and fall back to proxied?

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Why not add a new tier to pwas. You need to only use cookies scoped to your own domain, you get a new container without any existing session cookies etc. for other websites, but cors is dropped.
That should prevent carelessly putting auth tokens into cookies and should replace cors in that sensitive sessions are containered away and all existing data for other websites that where slopily created somehow are isolated.

After all for the way wefwef works for example I see no benefit to cors

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

Most things passing through are public anyway, as lemmy is allmost entirely public. The only privat info is your password and wefwefs session. Those are visible in clear to the server, so could in theory be logged. If you change your password (and invalidate your sessions) after wefwef switches to direct you should be good.

What Android keyboard do you use?

Keyboards are probably one of the most sensitive apps on our phones, having access and handling practically everything we type. I’ve stopped using keyboards that require network access and started using only opensource apps a few years ago. What are your favorite, privacy-respecting android keyboards?...

Redjard,
@Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com avatar

I think no autocorrections (for now). I never used them so idk.

Swipe is different to gboard, but imo better. gboard tried some things with snapping to certain parts, but I always found it unintuitive, it mostly got in my way. Florisboards swipes are more “plain” as in that I find them very predictable.

You can add a permanent number line. It also won’t vanish on random inputs like gboards does. Clipboard has arbitrary history size, and is also available everywhere (It annoyed me to no end to not have it for password fields in gboard).

Dictation is quick, it will switch the keyboard, but not the screen. To continue typing you need to press one button to return the keys.

With the symbols and layouts you have far more choices. I could have 1-1 recreated my gboard, but I found an even better layout (still need to readjust to it tho).
