In Episode 2 of the fallout show the black guy is assigned as the squire of a BOS knight that treats him like shit and is portrayed as a cocky asshole who runs like a coward from a Yao gui despite being in a full suit of T60 Power Armor.

The BOS Knight is played by Michael Rapaport, if they wanted to make the knight played by the most hateable man in hollywood, they succeeded.

Whatever you do, no matter how curious you get, do not use Beeper under any circumstances, it's a matrix fork that can communicate with other chat apps. It does this by storing every single one of your login credentials on a server in Germany, a country that has compelled supposedly private services into providing them user info before. The difference here is that if Beeper gets compelled by Germany into giving up user data it won't just be one of your accounts that gets exposed, it'll be every single account you have as its service works by connecting to your messaging account and acting like another full instance of the app in question.

To test the service, I used an alt Telegram account I have, knowing full well that if Beeper tried anything odd Telegram would alert me beforehand, and sure enough they requested a full export of all my account data to some datacenter in Germany. And to make matters worse, they are now owned by the same people who own Wordpress and Tumblr.

This service has more red flags than the great leap forward, stay as far away from this service as humanly possible.

It does appear that after several horrific flops caused by pissing off fanbases with irreverence towards the source material it seems that Amazon has at least learned its lesson and is advertising the fallout show as being as "lore accurate as possible" with a special emphasis on the importance of actors understanding the lore and the writers being passionate about it. Doubt that'll end up being totally true but I have yet to see any of the actors come out and slag the fanbase or the lore yet.

I made a prediction after the Rings of Power disaster that Amazon was likely making significant changes to the Fallout TV show in an effort to partially recoup public opinion and that seems to be what they are trying to do, at least with pre-release marketing.

Checking the Sweet Baby Inc Detected Steam Curator and I noticed that the listings on it have moved from "mentioned on SBI's website" to "mentioned in an obscure article, briefly in patch notes, or have been deleted from SBI's website" clearly the actions of industry insiders and SBI employees who are confident in their contributions and the morality of what they are doing. I expect this to be the tact going forward and I don't think SBI is going to be updating their website that much anymore, Sunlight truly is the best disinfectant.
