moderator who would delete posts with traction and repost it himself for karma
I’ve had this happen to me, it felt so fucking wrong lol. My thread got deleted by the mod and he reposted it as a sticky on his own name without so much mentioning me.
The sad part of this is somehow thinking that payment solves any problem. Like, idk what they would pay me, just bring back my dead wife/child/father whatever. You can’t fix everything with money.

This is key. We might not notice it as quickly as on land, but water holds so much more energy than air. A warm ocean has a lot more and longer effect than warm land, even tho people are inclined to downplay it. The amount of heat required to increase the ocean with 1 degree is staggering.
That requires a certain amount of intelligence and interest in those things. No disrespect to those people but it you are below average IQ and make a living in a simple job, you cant just contribute to open source software and read academic papers for a hobby.

You could just use a popup that says “Are you over 18 and willing to see NFSW content?” like most NSFW website do, but I guess that doenst generate enough money unlike forcing accounts does.
Since when does a reddit account require me to submit ID proving I am indeed 18+? I literally see no difference in reliability between requiring an account where one claims to be 18+ and a banner where one has to claim to be 18+. In both scenario’s you are relying 100% on user input.
