Valmond,

Mint has became Linux 7 IMO. It just works.

Valmond,

I just love english and their crazy namings. I mean I know it’s not correct but it could be. It really could be.

Valmond,

BEEP BOOP BEEP BOOP!

Valmond,

I know people doesn’t like Redmi/Xiaomi, but man what a punch for the money, and “malware” have been inexistant up until very lately (deep malware are everywhere). I bought a (the FX) file explorer for like 5€, there is a totally ok free version too and that’s the only thing I needed to have a nice experience (no pub, I know everything is probably tracked like on all phones).

Got the redmi note (pro?) 2 shipped from alibaba.com a long time ago for < 100€, then the 5, 7 etc.

Greatest value for sure, they all still work except the 5 that I went swimming with, I cracked the screen on the 7, …

The older ones also had swappable batteries (3000 mAh too!) and SD card slot when the concurrences had like 32GB for OS + everything else.

I’m not a fanboi but my 4 year old phone for 250€ has 6GB RAM & 128 GB storage…

😎

Valmond,

Actually not since Reagan but since Trump.

FTFY

Valmond,

What acomeback!!1!

Lots and even an overwhelming part of some topics are clearly coming out of the Kremlin, like nuclear, this idiotic take on biden only etc.

I think you have to be a time traveller, but like from 1999 to now to not see that.

Valmond,

No no no, it’s “fatally shot”!

Valmond,

I think (not sure here but this is what I figured) that russians bought starlink terminals under cover in other countries, and that it’s not that simple to turn of arbitrary terminals in the warzone. Who is a bad one, who is a good one?

Obviously especially if musk/starlink doesn’t actually do anything about it.

Glad they are, FINALLY, trying (being forced I guess) to do something about it.

Valmond,

I’m curious, what do you or anorher “classic”(?) home user do that needs more than like an old intel 6500 with say 32GB RAM and some 1 TB SSD (hoarding etc goes to the NAS right?) of storage?

I know dockers consume, or so I have heard, but even a webserver, streaming etc is that really eating up the (pcie)bandwith?

I’m just a low end tinkerer who likes to buy over specced stuff so I wonder what’s you all doing with yours I guess!

Valmond,

Now I want to know what int3 does.

Valmond,

Hey thank you!

Not what I thought it was for sure 😃

How does it work if an instruction gets replaced by the INT3 though?

Valmond,

Whoo that seems complicated, I mean you akready compile a debug version.

Thanks for the explanation!

Valmond,

Sir/Madman

Your post is inspirational.

Cordially

Valmond,

Me at work xith enterprise grade windows:

Right clicks.

40 seconds when I guess windows “defender” or some “protection endpoint” uploads the clicked item to some microsoft server, wakes up Bill Gates, waits for an “OK” before returning access to the computer (and displays the context menu).

Same if you dare look at c:

Suct great OS. So productivity. So tinker free.

BTW it was worse before I removed some items from the context menu by editing the registry.

Valmond,

2014 Kangoo begs to differ (no options, except the brown color).

Valmond,

Those LGBTQ people are, people. Human beings. Humans.

What a terf post.

Valmond,

If you don’t have more or less a listening room with the loudspeakers very well placed, you won’t notice a difference. Mono with a good setup will give spatial clues as good as stereo. Yes you might get the left-right mixed up I guess but does it matter?

There was some mp3 matchbox shaking sound clip that really felt like it went around your head (popular maybe 10-15 years ago?), a simple mobile phone produced the effect very well, you just needed to close your eyes.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange facing pivotal moment in long fight to stay out of US court [ BRIAN MELLEY | May 18, 2024 | Associated Press] (apnews.com)

“Julian has been indicted for receiving, possessing and communicating information to the public of evidence of war crimes committed by the U.S. government,” his wife, Stella Assange, said. “Reporting a crime is never a crime.”

Valmond,

Oh, the old whataboutism but turned around! How interesting.

Valmond,

Oh no Kremlin anti anti propaganda mudding the waters or some other stupid shit.

Valmond,

I worked out that around 30 to 40 mc nuggets was the limit. Mcd paris 5th by the river, fun times.

Valmond,

And accept a sort of ruler that decides quite literally everything.

How unsurprising that every narcissist power hungry evil person want’s to be in “gods” place.
