Republicans love to throw out that: “We used to be the progressive party!” line. Ok, you seem to be proud of that. Are you progressive now? “Oh, hell no. We’d never have freed the slaves now.”
I guess it’s crass to hand someone a bill mid-crisis, but I’m having trouble feeling too sorry for him. The costs don’t seem outrageous. And, he obviously skipped the traveler’s insurance.
I love coffee, so I had high hopes for this being really good. It tasted like someone mixed sugar, red wine, and coffee. Horrible. Tangy. Oddly sweet. Just weird. I can’t imagine a boardroom of people at Dunkin tasted this crap and said “ship it!”
Great shot. I took this in Atlanta, GA about 10pm EST. The sky definitely had a very slight pink / purple hue you could see with the naked eye. Northern lights or some sort of lens flare?
First let me be clear: I’m not a crazy conspiracy person (…on this) I just don’t rely on a municipal well. As far as I know adding fluoride to the private well at my houses is not a thing, good or bad. I did drink municipal water for two years when I lived on campus in college....
The scientific concensus is certainly ‘Yes’, but my own personal experience backs that up. I struggled with cavities well into my 30s, especially while at college where I mostly drank distilled water I bought in jugs at the grocery store (the local water supply had frequent issues I was trying to avoid). At some point, my dentist put me on a high-fluoride toothpaste, and the cavities basically stopped. The extra fluoride seems to have a definitive effect for me.
Those are “de-escalation devices”. First, you beat them with thing 1. If that doesn’t calm them down, you stun them with thing 2. If they are still not calm, you shoot them with thing 3. Repeat until America great again.
“So there I was, watching Fox News on one TV, NewsMax on another, dick in hand of course - I’m an alpha you see. And I see this dude trying to steal my freedoms. I ran after him, and I heard him say something woke. It was either “Sorry - wrong house” or “I want to rape your wife and abort the baby”. I couldn’t tell which. Of course I had my blue steel beauty in the hand I wasnt using to rub one out - so I started blasting…”
With the midday sun blazing, an experimental orange and white F-16 fighter jet launched with a familiar roar that is a hallmark of U.S. airpower. But the aerial combat that followed was unlike any other: This F-16 was controlled by artificial intelligence, not a human pilot. And riding in the front seat was Air Force Secretary...
Kendall remarked after the flight: “The flight was nice and smooth, but an AI voice kept screaming the whole time about how Megatron is a failure at leading the Decepticons.”
This article reads like the author kind of liked the movie, but their editor changed the headline:
Naturally, the premise sounds silly. Foolish, even. But Seinfeld doesn’t let it show. Unfrosted is briskly paced, gamely acted, and its script, co-written by Spike Feresten, Andy Robin, and Barry Marder, does not contain a whit of self-consciousness. It’s also funny at times, even if it is a depressing, vulgar little project.
A new bill, the first of its kind in the U.S., would ban security screening company Clear from operating at California airports as lawmakers take aim at companies that let consumers pay to pass through security ahead of other travelers....
Seems good, but if you are trying to make airport screening more equitable, why just Clear? What about “Sky Priority” and “Precheck”? I’m wondering if the airlines are lobbying for this.
Fucking Microsoft, with their fully featured toolsets, libraries for everything, fantastic IDE, second fantastic IDE, and cloud infrastructure that actually delivers on the promise of cloud, and isn’t just “bare metal bullshit in the sky”. Hate those fucking pricks.
