Xantar,

I’d rather have the workers own their own mean of living (house).

Xantar,

I’d argue 70 hours is a pretty high tolerance for boredom then.

I mean if you kill your pollinators you’re not going to reproduce, so that makes sense the genes survived.

Xantar,

They tried putting it on NDS and mobile IIRC. Same vibe

Xantar,

Is that what a stroke feels like ? Interesting.

Xantar,

Algae is the loyal friend that always has your back and gives you the energy to go through life.

You’re not ready for bee Jesus. It will scare you.

Xantar,

“I don’t understand why my kid won’t talk to me about important sensitive topics” parent starter pack.

Xantar,

That one jar is bringing some burried memories.

Xantar,

The various blades look worrying.

Counter argument: A tidy looking room makes me happier. Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time, ergo, making your bed is not wasted time.

If your house is the reflection of your mental state, then the other way around is also true.

Xantar,

I won’t try to change your mind, that would be hypocritical of me…you just have to find a partner who cares equally.

Xantar,

Care equally and doesn’t care equally is the same.

1 =1 and -1=-1 it’s still equal.

Why does DRM consume vast system resources even though we have TPM, Pluton, etc.

I’ve seen many instances of some software having DRM that significantly degrades the performance of the software, or worse, the performance of the entire OS due to heavy background tasks. Prime examples include Denuvo and all those Adobe background processes. Why can’t they just simply use the TPM or the other 5 security...

Xantar, (edited )

Because they don’t care about performances. They just want you to not pirate the game for the first couple weeks after release so they can make the most sales money, then once the crack is out, they remove Denuvo…or not.

The security is for their benefit not yours, so they don’t have a reason to trust your hardware over proprietary software they control.

But maybe I’m wrong, I’m just assuming. I’m not a dickhead using Denuvo.

Xantar,

Finally a project I can stand behind in front

Xantar,

Also statistically, on the amount of monkeys that do not write Hamlet to the letter. There is an insane amount that missed it by a single letter, or punctuation sign.

Xantar, (edited )

I don’t think the people who want to speed are the kind of people I want driving anyway.

Admitting you want to bypass the rules should be a red flag and imo warrant an immediate cancellation of your permit. You’re driving a thousand kilos of metal at bone shattering speeds, if you can’t be trusted to be responsible, don’t drive. (And it’s a general you, not you OP)
