Heatsink/Earthpads underneath QFN/DFN/SOIC etc. packages should be adjusted to a “window pane” design for reliable soldering. This allows for flux fumes to escape more easily and prevents the building of a large solder blob that may shift the part out of position. #aisler_tips #aisler #electronics #pcb

Of course instead of actually routing a PCB I ended up starting writing a plugin to handle constraints presets from manufacturers because I couldn't find such basic thing already in #KiCad while everyone has their own plugin for submitting and other weird thing, but not that 🤷

Not functional yet, but it shouldn't be that hard.
