Didn’t really think free spells are something we needed more of in Modern and Legacy but at these feel somewhat underwhelming, and require creatures at least.

The blue one is obviously good for Merfolk but also would work into the cascade decks running Shardless Agent.

Wow this seems like a nice Urza’s Saga toolbox card and pretty decent cheap/sideboard hate against the pitch elementals, Force of Negation/Will, omniscience, etc. Incidental Plot and Mishra’s Bauble hate too 😜

This is a cool card, like the interesting use of exert on a land. You could give two creatures haste with this as well if you spend one of the reds on each which is kind of neat.

Seems too narrow sadly but does hit Wrenn and Six, Omnath, and Teferi in 4c Omnath. Does not hit The One Ring sadly, or the elementals or Binding.

I believe the buyer’s name is hidden, which makes this all the more suspicious. I mean this is like 6x the price of the most recent highly graded alpha Lotus, which was only a year ago.

If his upper leg goes all the way to the end of that armor then yeah he’s like 8’ tall. It looks like his knee might stop well before the leg armor though, it’s hard to tell if thats sky background poking through there or not.

Really well named card. Winter from Winter Orb, with Moon since it only affects nonbasics.

I doubt this is good enough in Modern as a stax or tempo card but you never know.

Wow is this the first completely land-based land tutor? I wonder if this goes into Amulet or even Legacy Lands? Legacy is running Elvish Reclaimer now and this kind of does the same thing, albeit doesn’t represent a clock at all if need be.

I plan to go through it more fully when I can test drive the deck but initially out of curiosity, did you try a bant version or version running green at all? I noticed you mention they get to the game plan a bit faster and thats the one I’ve typically seen, just wondering!
