Would you believe that the phrase "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize" is a paraphrase of words written by a neo-Nazi? Would you then claim that the sentiment behind that phrase is older than the original statement of it?
This paraphrase is based on an even NEWER statement (from 1993) by NeoNazi and self-admitted possessor of child pornography Kevin Strom. Isn’t there a point to me explaining this?

This is great news!! Completely free apps no longer pay the CTF, and developers making less than €10M/yr (basically all indie devs) now have a 3 year buffer before CTF bills kick in — giving them time to adjust if any of their apps do end up getting over a million downloads

@OGSH @Mer__edith note: Free Speech literally exists to protect political discourse. Living in fear that speaking against the government alone will land you in jail regardless of whether or not you committed any crime is genuinely something that you should consider when you think “Free Speech is an expression used for a political agenda...”.

Israel is committing genocide. You cannot and should not argue that the party whom is being targeted by genocide in any way deserves it.

the market for network-controllable power strips is weird
it's two things:

  1. 50$ devices intended for use in the home. 3 plugs, connects to some cloud service, shiny and available on amazon
  2. 300$ devices with 8 ports and you can talk to it over RS232 and 10/100 ethernet and the web stack fits on a 64kb eeprom and it's only purchasable on a website that was last updated in 2008
