@Ptang yeah, I have one of those on my phone too. But I also bought a nice Swiss micros DM42 physical RPN calculator that's based on the HP42S

Note the custom wallpaper that has my name and the picture of the goddess and named for 😂😂😂

I do recommend the Swiss Micro DM42, for sure! It's really nice. Also, metal and heavy 😲😃

You have an original one! I also like the Swiss micros stuff and they do make a version that looks like yours as well, not just the 42 that we both have. Anyway these are wonderful little calculators and I adore them

I haven't gone down the PhD route yet, we'll see where the wind carries me. But that electrical engineering definitely explains why she likes an RPN

@brhfl nifty!!! I love calculators like that. I don't have enough free cash to go running around buying old ones like that, but I would be happy to if I did. They are just so nice 🥰 I do math all the time, so I always have a RPN calculator sitting beside me

I love how the old calculators just last forever. I mean, I know everyone wants to use their phone, but my calculator has like a multi-year battery lol and it just works instantly. There are some benefits over the phone

Guess who remembered to buy the two-year warranty against scratches when they bought their glasses lol and so, and get to fix my boo-boo's with my glasses for free. I need a little free right around now 😵‍💫

@opalmirror I don't always buy warranties, but sometimes I think it's worth it. Obviously it's in a cost to risk ratio. And while one can mathematically determine the likelihood and so on to some degree, I sort of just feel it out. This one felt really likely to happen so I'm glad I did. Oddly, this is the first time they've ever been scratched but damn that I scratch 'em lol

@opalmirror We got a set of these for m, and they were expensive. But they put this damn coating in the outside of them that got destroyed really quickly and it rendered the glass useless. What's the point of sapphire if we're going to then coat cheap plastic over top of it? 😵‍💫

Done with my doctor appointment and time to head home. Here is my autumn dress which has little leaves all over it, embroidered. I'm starting to wonder if Autumn is my favorite season.

Not too hot or cold, and such beautiful colors, and Halloween/Samhain 🍂🎃🍁🏳️‍🌈

I got it from eShakti.com, but they've since sort of gone downhill. It's unfortunate because they were my favorite place to get dresses.

Sadly, they stop functioning right after I got my last one. If you order something there now, it's a good possibility it will show up really late and not be well made or properly fitted. Nobody knows what's going on with them. Look at their reviews if you want to see what I mean. It's very sad
