Or a burning hatred of proprietary systems

antrosapien,

Most probably, no. I tried to run bluestacks on wine. Some game works, most of em don’t

antrosapien,

Linus has succinctly told nvidia what to do

antrosapien,

I never understand the concept of therapy. I always think of it as a fancy way to say helping so called “neurodivergant” to mold into " neurotypical" person

antrosapien,

Currently, they are specifically advertising that they can provide really large amount of power for very short time. I don’t know where I read this but CERN is storing discharging some big capacitors to jump start LHC, and gravitricity can provide same power by parallely lowering heavier weights. source required

antrosapien,

What about storing energy as potential energy using some high density objects. This may work… Right?? gravitricityCheck out their work.

antrosapien,

That’s really interesting you’re storing power. Was it diy??

antrosapien,

Fucking amazing😮😮 Write a blog if you document things… Might come handy to beginners

antrosapien,

These are not engineering issues but political ones. We could have potentially unlimited supply of food even with current technology but here we are

A corporate going down in history for the abuse of word open despite being anything but

antrosapien,

There wont be a year of the Linux desktop, it will be little increment in users over time. Plasma 6 is AWESOME… I noticed this feature with kde 6 so i guess its backed into it

antrosapien,

Do existence of a full fledged Switch emulator implies that it could have been build with $40000/month (from yuzu paetron page) and r&d or whatever cost it took was artifically inflated🤨

The business arm of Raspberry Pi is preparing to make an initial public offering (IPO) in London. CEO Eben Upton tells Ars that should the IPO happen, it will let Raspberry Pi’s not-for-profit side expand by “at least a factor of 2X.” And while it’s “an understandable thing” that Raspberry Pi enthusiasts could be...

antrosapien,

Do they work with podman? Or anything for podman?

antrosapien,

My first impression of gitlab was offputting because I was using hardened firefox and couldnt get past through cloudflare so I ended up using github. It was also better ui wise but now its just a mess

Edit: slowly i’m starting to move everything to codeberg

antrosapien,

You gotta embrace first

antrosapien,

Most probably. I was viewing discussions about podman, I could view them if directily opened from a link but it required login when navigated to linked pages and wiki

antrosapien,

Github started independently and was amazing service(and still is except now its going downhill) but Microsoft acquired it it 2018
