It’s been well, school on Fridays are usually chill. We read about Marxism today in social science/economics class, and last week we read about mercantilism and liberalism. So that was fun. I’m glad it’s the weekend now, I’ll be eating a bunch of spaghetti. And I have 2 days off next week, whoo-hoo!

Your comment actually inspired me to try the free trial for Tidal and I really like it. In the future I might switch over to it from Spotify, at least they seem to pay artists better.

Initially I used Mlem, but I found the scrolling to be not smooth, and I didn’t really like the design. Then I had Avelon for a while, which I would’ve still kept if it wasn’t for the fact you couldn’t off-load it and it took up a lot of data on my phone (2-3GB). Now I use Voyager and I really like it, I think I’ll stick with it for a while. You can customise it a bit, it looks like Apollo, it’s smooth, I’m able to off-load it. It’s great!

I used to have specific usernames I felt attached to, but those depended on what kind of phase I found myself in. Nowadays it’s hard for me to come up with a username at all, especially since I don’t want to use my real name. But so far I like this username I have now the most.

I was stuck with a Google account because I still wanted to view Youtube, but then I found alternatives like Piped and Freetube that let you import your subscriptions. Maybe that’s an option, if you’re interested.

Iron Sky from 2012. It doesn’t have good ratings but the first time I watched it with my father, it was hilarious. Granted, the humour is quite dark but the cultural differences that you will come to see are so funny. I liked it, personally, but of course it’s not for everyone.

Lol, can I answer this even though I don’t have a Beehaw account anymore?

It’s ok. But it’s been hot weather, like summer. I want winter and the cold to come already. I have gotten started with a programming course in C#, some tasks are difficult but it’s fun problem-solving. School is ok, my classmates are nice but unfortunately I don’t seem to have much in common with most/any of them.

All in all, things are going alright. I remade all of my Spotify playlists which has been therapeutic. Now I’m just chilling, school is draining sometimes. But life is ok. 👍

When you’re angry and on the verge of tears; sounds basic, maybe, but it feels so overwhelming when you’re both shaking with anger and at the same time trying to hold in your sadness. Makes you want to both yell at something and curl into a ball and disappear. It’s a double negative, which makes it more powerful. I’m not an angry or short-tempered person, so whenever this happens to me I feel so lost and confused with what to do.

If you feel that the weather is affecting your day-to-day life for the worse, absolutely. You are not obligated to stay for family or for a job. Prioritise your health, you can always visit relatives.

The comments have already explained it, it seems; Twitter/Mastodon (microblogging) is for broadcasting your shower thoughts, for when writing a lengthy essay post isn’t appropriate.

It took me some time getting used to how Twitter worked, but eventually I got the hang of it and I liked it. I can’t for the life of me get used to Mastodon, though. Maybe something to do with the layout that I don’t like…
