So I've just been doing some tidying in the garage and I found this old . I've put it on charge, but do we think it will boot, and what OS do we think it's running?

@kev In one step or in multiple LTS steps? you'd probably have less issues reinstalling - but I'm 100% curious about the result!

New release of my #AppleII things!

STP, my FTP client, is now much more usable. It gets search, is ported to non-enhanced Apple II, and more importantly can now transfer floppy images (.po and .dsk) to a floppy, in the same way that ADTPro does.

This means that if you make yourself an STP floppy (with ADTPro), you won't have to unplug your Apple II from the Surl proxy and plug it to your ADTPro computer to transfer other disk images anymore!

Here is a demo of using my Apple II STP client to transfer a floppy image to a real floppy.

@santiago can't do that over serial! You need a few kb of buffer for that, that's why people need an uthernet or cffa3000

@santiago Right, that would be possible. A little amount of code, though :)

I was experimenting with the Quicktake protocol I documented in hopes of finding a way to turn its connection to 115kbps. Did not manage that but it looks like I managed to dump (part of?) its firmware! There are some funny/strange strings in it.
