Across about ten things this week, I'll say this: mastodon has a real toxic reply guy culture going on and it is exhausting to receive this EVERY SINGLE TIME you dare say something that gets attention, as a marginalized female scientist. Worse to me tbh than typical trolling because it is so deeply rooted in credibility deficit "know your place" patterns. You all are worse than birdsite for me, where I have nearly five times more followers. Definitely thinking about leaving.

Fix your hearts.

neuronormativity not also challenges an us/ them binary but, just as wth heternormativity/mononormativity etc highlights that complete adherence to the norms is next to impossible and (as described by foucalt) we become each others policmen to defend the norms rather than dismantling the system of oppression it also allows more space for white supremacy discussions (am literally brainstorming rn )@actuallyautistic neuro

There is a documentary out claiming lots of people are "misdiagnosed" with adhd/add
They did this by having a journalist lie about his symptoms
Guess what - if you lie to a doctor they will misdiagnose you
Let's ask why they did this?

    I don’t follow sports or any competitions really. But I must say I dig this idea of a multi-country song contest.

    It is so colorful, creative, peaceful and full of love.
