SSL Labs (https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest) from Qualys used to be a useful HTTPS testing tool. However, it hasn't received significant updates since 2019 and is now holding back HTTPS security. The biggest issue is that many of the tests don't support TLSv1.3 so it penalizes disabling legacy TLSv1.2.

Can't we have a version of SSLlabs? Sounds like generally desirable for the whole industry and likely to receive Merge Requests once established. I think many updates would be mere changes of opinions about recommended settings.

I don't like that encourages people to fork(!) repos although they only want to download/clone it. If you never plan to contribute to that repo, why not just star and clone it?

Einige Vortrรคge hatten vielversprechende Titel, blieben dann aber doch recht oberflรคchlich. Vor allem wurde mehrfach ca. eine halbe Stunde auf die Problembeschreibung verwandt und es blieben nur noch wenige Minuten fรผr Lรถsungsansรคtze. How to make a base package for my @Perl code that enables subroutine signatures even if Moose or Test2::V0 are loaded subsequently?

I created Coocook::Base which enable signatures but in CI for Perl 5.32 I get tons of warnings because "use Moose" enables all warnings again. Do I need to handcraft the order of "use" statements in all modules?

I am starting to think that needs a feature where modules can be tagged as possibly abandoned.

If the git repo has disappeared, or if nobody has been able to contact the author for a long time, then it's worth noting somewhere.

I think if anyone makes effort to contact module authors that do not seem to take anymore, they could inform CPAN admins to move this dist to such a user.

I think I found another virtual CPAN user with a more specific meaning recently but I canโ€™t recall it right now.

@barubary I wasnโ€™t away that the files are different in the repoโ€™s HEAD. I extended the shown code to switch to the "master" branch.

I am trying to generalize the example code and maybe get rid of this weird "ANFANG" module.

I unknowingly had DBIC_TRACE=1 set in my session. ๐Ÿ˜… So the test script worked for me but was missing this env var. I extended the question once again.

I was writing the test first, and then got really surprised that the new method canโ€™t be called because itโ€™s kinda not implemented. How can that be?! ๐Ÿ˜

@mjgardner @Perl Did you miss the joke? Of course I know that. I actually find that very helpful for development productivity. It's just that I am still sometimes surprised that some beautifully crafted test statement can't possibility work until I do the implementation part.
