Ok #DuckDuckGo -- I am really curious about this one!
I searched for: david sedaris blood work
because I wanted to see if the piece was online anywhere. The result I got on both my phone's Firefox Focus and my work laptop's Firefox says "not many results contain test, search for david sedaris blood 'test'?"
but the word "test" is not anywhere in my query.
Searching for: lab blood work
does not get me this. Nor do other things I've tried.
Wow, this is possibly the stupidest, greediest, most predatory abuse of copyright I've seen in a while.
A person can't post a photo of a room with wallpaper that has a licensed image even if the wallpaper was legally bought? That's not how this is supposed to work!
"She didn't credit me in the caption."
WHO TF LOOKS UP THE NAME OF THE WALLPAPER ARTIST WHEN POSTING VACATION HOME PHOTOS?
@ktempestbradford the worst part is that he's jurisdiction shopping, and that this is the third time that he's tried to sue over this because two other German courts told him to GTFO
So far today, two different people have asked me why I'm so friendly and happy. And, hey. So far as I know, we get one trip on this sweet little planet. It'd be a real drag if we all carried on unhappy, unfriendly.
So yeah in re: #Linux and #Windows (especially with this new #WindowsRecall#LLM thing) and Linux people being jerks etc. I've been a Linux user since 1994. In that time I've had a fair chunk of "lol linux sucks" lobbed at me from, oh, Amiga people. OS/2 people. DOS people. Windows people. MacOS people. Now-long-dead proprietary Unix people. Claims that Linux is "hard to use" and people just can't be bothered.
It is entirely possible to critique completely terrible people without talking about their looks or how they're so old they should "go back to Facebook".
I love that almost every All Trails review of the place I'm going to hike today is like "got lost but it was ok."
Helps me set expectations. It's a rather small place -- really the worst case scenario for being lost if you can't also use your phone's GPS (which you can, it's got coverage) is that you just have to go find one of the boundary roads.
Transferred that scoby. For fun, tried some of the tea from the scoby incubation jar, and man, I mean, it tastes ok, but WHOOF is it acidy. Could feel my tooth enamel.
