@darth Against windows at least i can agree, it does fell that way.

(Against linux is a different story as like on mac, i don't really check my ram usage on linux as much as i would check it on windows)

@darth I try to limit charging the battery to 80% which sometimes i go over when i'm not paying attention. (Whilst gaming, i don't normally care about battery charge that much)

I'm supposed to have software built into my laptop to limit the battery charging to 80%, however that doesn't work on linux (it does but only for a while after i've booted into windows and used the software on there)

I do normally let the battery run below 10% as well.

I did have to change STOP_CHARGE_THRESH_BAT0 to 1 to get it to work, but now i can watch my computer charge to 79%

@darth i've messed around with mounting it before, but that always seems complicated (especially the automount).

Normally i just go into dolphin and mount it via there to access it.

I probably should have mentioned this in the first message, but the account on the smb is password-protected which makes automounting a different challenge within itself

@darth Tbh, i don't think the promblem is within macintosh itself, it can already do high power creative design activities (video editing in particular). I think the main issue is just game devs and companies not putting in as much support. (Although this is mainly based off my experience with making low-end games so high end games might have different issues otherthan porting)

@darth I used windows 11 for a year on my laptop and never really had anything like that happened (without me purposely doing something high-resource intensive).

Hopefully windows 12 will have some redeeming feature right? (Or something that doesn't make me not want to use it) Oh wait, everything is AI powered and cloud base meaning you can't use your computer without an active internet connection at all times. (NOTE: this is just my speculations and not actually guaranteed)

@darth The fact that it has been this long, is kinda wild. Although it definitly doesn't fell like i joined yesterday (i joined feb), just having it announced makes it fell that much more wild.

As for a celebration, why not do the obvious thing? Gaming (somehow).

@darth Depends on the game and glitch. If it skips some major thing int he storyline then no,
Even if its not a story based game, you don't get the enjoyment of completing the level yourself. It's like asking a friend to do the level for you instead.
