But I agree with some of the other commenters. Customize your experience to suit your needs by carefully subscribing to only the communities you wish to engage with, then in your settings, choose to show only what you’ve subscribed to.

I work in the Microsoft (Intune) space regarding Apple. The Mac Admins community has been a treasure trove of knowledge. You need an M365 account to join but it’s fantastic.

What are the reason most of the outside internet hates the fediverse

I feel like if you scroll through any area outside of the fediverse you will here MASTODON SUCKKKKS OMG I HATE IT SO MUCH, it’s gonna fail. or comments saying mastodon will only exist for another year tops. Keep in mind I know in terms of microblogging apps for the fediverse mastodon is not the best, calckey is likely the best...

Pixelfed app - hide mastodon posts in network feed?

What the title says. I have mastodon and pixelfed, while it is nice to see posts from both services in network feed, im not interested as much in the mastodon posts. Its not a dealbreaker, but would be nice if i can switch off the mastodon posts. I dont know if it matters, but im using pixelfed.de instance.

given how little one vote matter, it seems to me that stripping felons of their right to vote is both petty and counterproductive if the point was to reform them into civic minded individuals ?

Also, seems kind of scary that this implies a future where so many people are in prison that their vote could actually tip the balance ?

I’m a producer and have a slightly different relationship with these platforms than the average consumer.

Apple Music SUCKS promoting my music and gets way less listeners than Spotify by a lot. The comparison is not even close.

The lack of reach with Apple Music when I go look at my metrics compared to Spotify is really sad. So for that reason alone I choose Spotify over all of the other platforms.

First one happened at birth:

I was turned the wrong way as a baby and the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck, choking me to death. Doctors had to perform an emergency c-section. In doing so they cut my face with the scalpel in two spots. Almost didn’t make it but have these cool scars.

EDIT: where were these experts during my birth? As the commenters pointed out, I wasn’t choking, but dying nonetheless.
