Well, no more Blue Microphones... but still the Yeti. If Logitech is going to kill Blue, it should at least kill the worst part of it... But no, because it's the most valuable (to them.)
I predicted this would happen when Blue was bought by Logitech, just didn't think it would take this long.
Blue does (did?) make some decent high-end stuff, but nothing that others aren't doing for less, in many cases.

@BorrisInABox I picked up a used one from eBay when I had spare funds because my headset mic just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I think it sounds pretty awesome, and the whole being able to use it as an external sound card thing doesn't hurt either.

@celrock you don’t have to worry about me stealing it because I already have one. I got mine on eBay for about 45 bucks. I’ve almost broken, a nail on the pattern knob a couple of times, and one of my favorite pastimes is messing with my YouTube people by setting it to stereo mode and spinning the chair.

@celrock I haven’t said to the one that’s supposed to block out most of the background stuff, but due to the unfortunate positioning of my stuff, picks up every ounce of barking

@celrock I think mine have the worst timing ever. They decide to start barking at their own reflections. Every time I switch the mic on. Can’t they bark over the middle of a track or something for once?

@celrock @jamminjerry @munchkinbear I don’t claim to know a lot in the audio department, but I do think it sounds better than what I was using before. If you’d like, I’ll send you a couple of YouTube videos for comparison

@jamminjerry @munchkinbear @celrock I don’t know that I’ve ever had a problem with excessive keyboard noise. Kind of surprising, considering I have a mechanical keyboard.

@munchkinbear @celrock @jamminjerry I’m sitting kind of far back from the microphone itself, but my keyboard is in front and slightly to the right. Mr. Giganto computer means my desk space is rather limited.

I'm a little confused and would appreciate someone explaining something to me. It seems that Reddit is now going to allow a special exception for a third-party app designed for people with visual impairments, which is really nice. However, I currently use Apollo, and it's about to shut down. I'm wondering if there's another third-party app out there that's specifically designed for people with visual impairments that I might be unaware of. Can someone please help me

@silverleaf57 from what little bit I tested it it sounded mostly OK. Having a floating keyboard sitting in the middle of my home screen isn’t exactly my favorite thing in the world.

Why woudl Appolo for Reddit be dying when it is an accessibilit-based app and Reddit said accessibility-based apps are excempt from teh changes to there API/ No one seems to know the answer.

@pax @glaroc Dystopia is supposedly on the good list according to the email I got last night. I’ll believe that when it’s officially confirmed. Honestly, I would leave all together if there was somewhere to go that had the kind of stuff I use Reddit for in the first place.
