I don't understand why some Americans are excited that Trump was found guilty.

It's not going to make a difference. Because of their stupid rules, a convicted felon can still be president. And he could well win the election in November -- showing how messed up the US is right now, and that Biden is a dud.*

@dbarros I would love to see an inauguration where the president is sworn in behind bars. Would be good viewing!

@dbarros there is chatter about self-pardoning, so I’m sure it’s possible. He can only do so as a president though, so I assume he’d be sworn in behind bars, and the first thing he does is self-pardon, releasing him from jail.
