gigachad,

The title is a bit confusing at first, but good news once you understand it!

How old is the oldest building in the town you live in?

To those from the Western hemisphere, it’s always fascinating to hear that some homes and businesses from the times of the Greek philosophers still have inhabitants, and then you remember that the Western hemisphere is itself not without its own examples, for example some Mexican villages still have temples from the times of...

gigachad,

I think it is an old church from around 1100. The oldest residential house is much younger, about 1550.

For clothes I have 2 rules: 1) If the zipper is not made by YKK, fuck it I don’t need that article 2) I never buy cheap screen printed fabric t shirts. DTG on cotton all the way.

gigachad,

Yes that’s it, thanks. I’m not a native speaker so I translated it, no idea if the abbreviation is used.

gigachad,

You can feel it. The DTG print is very flexible, it feels like the fibre just has another color. The screen print feels like a sheet of rubber that was attached to the shirt.

gigachad,

gigachad,

To make sure there is a secret hidden you need to gently stab that wall with your sword. If it makes a high ringing noise, place a bomb, run away and profit!

gigachad,

I looked through the article links but couldn’t find Heise. Can you help me?

gigachad,

As far as I understood, I should look for unofficial OS from developers of LOS. I am not storing any important data on my device but, you know there is some accounts credentials and private chats.

This would add at least a bit credibility to the ROM, but in the end you don’t know what’s inside. The device maintainer can implement anything into the source code they would want to. Is that a realistic scenario? Probably not, but it should be considered before flashing stuff from unknown sources.

do you recommend to use LOS for me
It depends.

Tbh, only if you really want it. From the info you provided I get that you are mainly interested in privacy.

In case you would flash an unofficial ROM that works without bugs, you would need to avoid GApps, which is required to use the Google Play Services (Maps, Network Location, Push Notifications. This is the core of Googles surveillance framework.
Also keep in mind the monthly security patches are not guaranteed with an unofficial ROM.

If I were you I would try to live with what you have now. If you can, save some money and buy a device that is officially supported by LOS (meaning it is listed here).
If you can afford it and can live with a more minimal system, buy a used Pixel and flash GrapheneOS for maximum privacy/security.

You are welcome to ask some more questions if you like and I will try to answer them tomorrow, but I had a lot of red wine and it is late in my time zone ;)

gigachad,

In Germany milk usually is sold in a carton or a glass bottle. I can imagine it is annoying for you.

gigachad,

I only buy one of those plastic bottles every two months, so that’s okay for me. The good water comes from the tap, cola or other drinks I buy in glass bottles.
