It's Tsukimi, the Japanese moon viewing festival. The moon is especially pretty tonight, and so is ATDAN-'s art! You'll see ATDAN- here again in a couple months.

It's uncertain how things are floating here. I think the girl is simply levitating, but maybe she's being affected by tidal forces? Edit: And then there's some fish in the air and they might be air swimming? I don't know.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but ATDAN- designed this character for Haiyi, an ocean-themed Mandarin Chinese Synthesizer V voice. I posted another one for her sister Cangqiong today.

I was going to wait and crosspost this one from /r/interestingasfuck, but today /r/spaceporn had a good discussion about this. Would this be amazing or terrifying? Both, I think, but a massive view of the entire Earth with no filter but your spacesuit helmet? I would find a way to live up there for years at a time.

I tried using Daz 3D, but the hundreds of sliders are intimidating. At least there's a good community sorting it. I need to find hair with physics.

Sorry about the gap between posts today. I was busy with several problems, including getting distracted by a big football balloon at the grocery store. It lifts more than any other balloon I've seen there, so I had to have it.

I've been keeping an eye on sparrows for a while. It was the last thing I posted before I flooded my feed with video game music. Sparrows has been inactive for years, but her gifs are just magical.

Also, this seems to have started a trend for roomba witches. I approve of this.

(I don't think Kbin supports animated GIFs, so I made this a video post instead. At least you get to see the follow-up GIF right away.)

From 1928 to 1932, at the end of each parade, Macy's would release the balloons into the sky. People who found these parade balloons in the wild could return them to the store for store credit. This got way too competitive and Macy's had to end the practice. This is from New York City during the Great Depression, so solid information is hard to come by. You'll see more of this from me on Thanksgiving this year.

In Pokemon Yellow, Pikachu can fly with balloons. If Pikachu uses Fly outside battle to fly you to another town, I guess this is what happens? I've had 23 years to find out.
