That distributed companies need to run at least one physical, in-person all-hands gathering per year is pretty well established.

But what would you argue is the minimum and maximum length for such a gathering to be useful? Or what's the ideal length, if there is such a thing?

If it is once a year that's easily two weeks.

The companies I have seen met more often.

I don't think so.

A lot of online communication works a lot better when you have met people in person, made them "real" in your experience, and got a face to face judgement of their cultural and educational background and viewpoints.

Also, a lot of contentious stuff is solved easily with zero-latency face to face elaboration that is hard to convey in writing.

It is useful to collect these contentious issues and conflicts beforehand, to get an agenda and …

It is also useful to allocate additional time, just for socializing or ad-hoc meetups around a certain topic.

Not all of these meetings need to be all-hands. Especially if they happen more often than annual, it is useful to have an all-hands, department or team get-together.

Wir installieren Ollama, laden mistral:instruct und verwenden den Ollama Prompt auf einem Mac mini oder einem Windows-Rechner mit Nvidia, um einen Text zusammenfassen zu lassen.

die hoffnungen, dass die trump gefahr wegen seiner verurteilung gebannt ist, teile ich nicht. trump hatte schon so viele enden seiner politischen karriere. ich persönlich bin immer noch nicht darüber weg, dass er „grab em by the pussy“ überlebt hat.

trump wird jetzt wie jedesmal in den umfragen sinken und in anderthalb monaten ist alles wieder beim alten. und wenn im juli das strafmaß verkündet wird, wieder eine runde: dipp -> normal.

Die Idee, das an [50% der] Tankstellen zu machen, ist irgendwie nachvollziehbar. Aber:
a) Haben wir wirklich zu wenig Säulen?
b) Ist’s beim Bäcker nicht viel netter?
c) Ist‘s am Supermarkt nicht viel praktischer?
(Niemand will beim Laden doof in der Gegend rumstehen …)

Ich habe mir jetzt keine besondere Mühe gegeben, sondern nur die Fastned-App aufgemacht und finde dies.

Offenbar gibt es ein dichtes Schnelllade-Netz zwischen Berlin und der Ostsee.

Das 4. Bild ist nur das Fastned-Netz in NL, aber das ist hier die heimische App.

11 kW in 4h sind 44 kWh minus Ladeverluste, also ca. 250 Kilometer Realverbrauch (es bringt einen 60 kWh Wagen von 10% auf 80%).

Ja, 11 kW Charger sind nicht für die Reise, sondern für am Ort.

Ich stecke halt ein, wenn ich shoppen gehe, dann geht eine halbe Stunde rein.Das läppert sich dann schnell zusammen.

Oder einmal Essen gehen und am Restaurant anstecken, dann sind es schnell mal 1.5h-2h.

Also, ich habe hier seit einem Jahr einen Megane e-Tec und seit drei Jahren den Carver.

Der Carver lädt mit einem normalen Stecker vom Dach.

Der Megane lädt daheim, am Supermarkt oder halt wo sonst ein Stecker ist – das erste halbe Jahr hatten wir keinen Ladepunkt am Haus.

Karten von Lademöglichkeiten für Amsterdam sind unübersichtlich. Hier sind Hoofddorp und unser Dorf.

Öffentliche Ladesäulen hier im Dorf, auch meist nur als Aggregate abbildbar.

Schnellader sind wichtig. Für Fernreisen, entlang der Autobahen.

Der Rest ist 11 kW, ein oder zweimal die Woche.

Das wäre aber falsch.

Die moderne FDP ist eine Rauborganisation, die Industrielobbies für Geld direkten Zugang zur Gesetzgebung bietet. Das ist ein offener Mißbrauch des politischen Prozesses.

Die deutschen Autobauer wissen so gut wie jeder andere, daß die Zukunft elektrisch ist, und haben schon lange umgestellt oder sind dabei.

Der einzige Verlierer, der "Technologieoffenheit" verlangt, ist die Fossilindustrie.

Oh, die Tatsache, daß es in Deutschland etwa 2-3 mal mehr Autos gibt als gebraucht werden und gut für das Land ist, ist auch korrekt und noch ein weiteres Problem.

Und die Tatsache, daß M1-Autos eine bauartbedingte Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 120 km/h haben müssen, und ein fahrbereites Maximal-Leergewicht von 1000 kg haben dürfen, ist politisch auch nicht zu thematisieren, aber wichtig.
