I've been trying Ubuntu for the last few months, seeing if it's any more stable than Fedora. Since CentOS is dead, my servers are on Ubuntu now so it seemed ideal to use it on my desktop too. But it's been weirdly unstable. Drag and drop to Firefox (Snap) often crashes. Godot's windowing has so many bugs too. Hard to say if it's the apps or Ubuntu. Annoyingly if I want stability and the latest apps, it might be best to go with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. 😨
A DDOS against the Internet Archive has commenced again, timed for maximum pain for the California staff to deal with. (I don't sleep, but I also can't do anything on the infrastructure here.)
So, we're down until people wake up to deal with the constant DOOS against us because... reasons

Masked emails are great, but they often seem to use absurd combinations of words making them awkward to say out loud or reference. Just noticed one of mine is "white.planXXXX"... #privacy#email
I wonder if Valve will at some point invest in building an x86/64 to Arm layer like Rosetta. Just another step to improving #SteamDeck and maybe even introducing Steam on Android. I'd say GNU/Linux smartphones but I've gone far enough already. Certain genres are just perfect for phones. Puzzle games especially.
