@MLE_online same! And I just so happen to have a brand-new, still in the box Ender 3 Pro collecting dust (from when Micro Center was selling them for $99).
Now I just need room in my workshop for it. 🤔

It's looking like I might have a couple extra second-draft prototypes of V5 to give away at .

Help me think of a contest that selects for nerdiest nerds with the freest free time (and likely to use it to write code/find bugs).

@ArchiteuthisFlux the most important Jumperless v5 update:
a USB-C port (so you can shut the fuck up about my love for USB Mini).
I'm dying 🤣

I just designed my first PCB using @kicad! I've been meaning to switch from Eagle for ages. It might be the stupidest little PCB that @oshpark has ever seen. I hope they can actually fabricate it. 🤞😅
It's a tiny little shim / spacer for @adafruit QT Py boards that have components on the bottom, so they can still be surface-mounted onto another PCB (like my 1" Fibonacci128).

An isometric 3D rendered image of the same PCB, but now it's green.

A side-view 3D rendered image of the same assembly described in the previous image.

I finally got around to 3D modeling and #3DPrinting a jig for soldering a Adafruit QT Py SAMD21 onto the back of a 1" Fibonacci128. I should have done this ages ago, makes it so much easier!

OK, I knew about some of the problems with StickerMule, but not all of these.
If you're still using them, please consider switching to one of the many alternative services, like StickerNinja which is awesome.
TLDR: they called an advocate for indigenous women a "Liberal Moron", the CEO has supported and donated to Trump and anti-LGBT causes, and they have been sued for underpaying employees for overtime.

OK this power bank actually looks useful. Anyone know of anything similar, with quickly & easily swappable 21700/20700/18650 cells, without the "tactical" BS? 😆

I just ordered some gorgeous prints and magnets from @jeffzugale, a brilliant sci-fi artist!
He has some new stuff he's working on, so you should probably follow him. 🤩

OK I have to admit this argument for using let over const for most cases in JavaScript/TypeScript almost has me convinced.
I'm sure I'm going to continue to prefer const, but I see the point.

The node.js documentary is really interesting, can recommend giving it a watch.

@timonsku I finally had time to watch it, thanks for sharing! I found it very interesting. My day job for the past few years has been all TypeScript & Node.js, but I didn't know all of the history behind it.

jasoncoon,
@jasoncoon@leds.social avatar

@timonsku likewise! I was just wishing the other day for a "Micro TypeScript".

Trying to start getting prepared for my installation at @crowdsupply Teardown in June. These cheap flat-pack necklace display stands aren't terrible, should work fine for the Lux Lavalier & Heart pendants.

@ferrix @wizard working on it, but I think that'd require a gyro + accelerometer? The PixelBlaze Sensor board just has an accelerometer.
